Basically the title, changed my humidifier filter and this is what I found. The substance in question was dried and crumbly, though. Unsure what it is. I cleaned the containment with a 50/50 water and bleach mixture before putting the new filter in. Humidity in house is kept between 45-55% 99% of the time.
Hi everyone, just a quick question because I have never experienced this before. I’m a first time homeowner and have been in this house for almost 4 years now. My AC unit is a 2.5 ton Ruud using 410A from 2013. Never seen the “Call for Service” message before. I looked everything over visually after turning the thermostat to off and then started it again. It now seems to be running normally. Fan sounds good and quiet and there’s no strange smells or sounds. Temps even going down in the house haha. Will likely still call a technician tomorrow, but just wondering if I should do anything myself before then. I work as an engineer and deal with a bit of HVAC, but certainly don’t want to do anything I’m not qualified for. Any advice or insight is appreciated. Thanks!
If you can get a hold of this one absolutely do it. It’s a souped up Schaller Fuzz that can cover a ton of ground Fuzz tone-wise. Thought I might sell it, but it’s absolutely a keeper.
