Practiced a store reel re-edit in DaVinci Resolve (Before vs After). Focused on visual pacing, text visibility, and retention flow. Feedback welcome!
Project Overview:
Took raw footage from a retail store walkthrough and re-engineered the layout for higher retention and cleaner presentation.
Key Focus Areas:
- Side-by-Side Comparison: Layered "Before vs After" to show instant visual impact.
- Typography & Contrast: Added heavy text with drop shadows to ensure high readability over dynamic backgrounds.
- Pacing & Flow: Synced cuts to the audio track and trimmed dead frames to maintain viewer interest.
Tools Used: DaVinci Resolve
