Has AI changed your workload at all, or is it mostly hype so far?

There’s a lot of talk online about AI reducing teacher workload, but I’m not sure how much of that is actually happening in real classrooms.
Teaching already seems packed with planning, grading, admin, meetings, and communication.
So I’m wonderimg from people actually doing the job, has AI made any part of your workload easier? Or has it mostly just changed how you do certain tasks without really reducing the amount of work?

How are teachers handling AI use in student work right now?

I’m curious how this is being handled in different schools and classrooms.
It seems like AI use in student assignments is becoming more common, but responses from schools don’t seem consistent yet. For teachers dealing with this directly, have your schools put any clear guidance in place yet? And whn there are concerns about AI being used in assignments, how is that usually approached in practice?
Just trying to understand what the real situation looks like from a teacher perspective.

Tried to be super strict with bottle washing, didn’t really last

I honestly tried to keep a proper routine at first.
Clean immediately, dry everything, nothing left in the sink overnight.

But real life doesn’t really follow that. One tired evening and suddenly you’re already behind.

Now I keep thinking if something like a bottle washer would’ve actually helped us stay consistent instead of trying to force discipline every day.

Now it feels more like constant catching up than staying organized
