The intention was to make the game feel smoother but the running animations are so cartoony that it feels so out of place for this game. Also not to mention they changed the animations for like every other gun so sometimes you get the normal running "floating-like" animation and other times you get the super arcade CoD-like running and reload animations.

I wouldn't mind it so much if we got an animations rehaul for majority of animations but now it's just for a select few things and it just doesn't flow well when you have a combination of the old and new animations
