Ko'Jagh, Khajiit Necromancer

Have a cute cat! Total sweetroll.

Ever since Elsweyr, I've liked the Order of the Hidden Moon storyline, even more so after Zerith-Var became a thing. Fun proof that necromancers aren't exclusively evil, sadistic soul-mongers and corpse-slavers, salvaging and taking various bits and bobs from the Worm Cult for his own use. Necromancy tattoos to both boost spells and hide his vampirism under illusion magic, robes loaded with soul gems as batteries, even a crown stolen from their leader's stupid head after killing him...repeatedly, partly because it's a really good channel for soul magic but also out of spite.

Also got the Spectral Indrik mount but don't quite have a screenshot of that.

Importing C:tL character to The Dreaming

Couldn't tag it as both so this'll have to do.

Been a long-time Lost fan, and and now that they've, as far as I'm aware, killed that entire gameline and those like in in the CofD, I've been wondering about Dreaming.

I know the rough basics, but not too sure on how stuff like Arts vs Contracts, Dreaming vs The Hedge, what would best translate to the seasonal courts like Spring, etc, or if any would really match up well at all.

Like I loved having a Hollow in the Hedge, a little home base you make yourself, statting it it with merit dots and all that that could be just for you or your entire motley, the goblin markets where you can buy just about anything including attributes or stat dots or sell the same, weird fae fruit with all kinds of different effects, etc.

Basically, explain it to me like I'm a complete newbie / "explain it to me like I'm 5", because I've heard that it's the more hopeful game but Banality sounds brutal with the whole "Science = massive source of banality" angle as far as I know?

Edit: For context, the character in mind is basically a humanoid squirrel made of stars that works as a doctor, has a hollow in the Hedge as a safe place where he cares for his motley mates and grows goblin fruit for their magic. A caretaker, compassionate almost to a fault and that same nature is what got him into medical work to begin with, and part of why he joined up with Spring Court for its healing contracts and simple motto of 'barren branches may once again sprout fruit' resonating with his desire to help others recover and heal, whether mentally or physically. So far all I have is the thought of a custom kith that blends Boggan's frailty of helping people in need with some pooka for playful nature and animal shenanigans according to the custom kith rules I've seen.
