Hiring in Chennai – Operations

Hey everyone,

We’re hiring building our team in Chennai to join our early-stage startup, Plenti.

Plenti is a food-tech startup that helps restaurants, bakeries and other food businesses sell their surplus food instead of wasting it. We’re already live across Kerala with 1,000+ vendors onboarded, and we’re now expanding into Chennai.

What we’re looking for:
Good Tamil is a must
Should be able to communicate in English. Fluency isn’t important.
Street-smart and comfortable talking to people
Good communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable travelling around Chennai for work

What the role involves:
Initially, most of the work will be around visiting restaurants, speaking to owners/managers, setting up meetings, negotiating and onboarding them onto Plenti. So expect quite a bit of field travel during the first 2–3 months.

After that, the role can become more flexible, with work-from-home and flexible working hours depending on the work.

Salary: Up to ₹35,000/month
We’re a small team, so you’ll actually have the opportunity to take ownership and grow with the company as we expand.

If this sounds interesting, DM me. I’ll share the detailed JD and other information over chat.

Rubber Tree : Per tree cost while cutting it down, anyone can help me with this ?

We have old rubber trees in my hometown. After years of tapping, their yield has dropped and they are no longer productive.

We are planning to cut them down to plant a new batch.

Could someone help me estimate the value of these trees? Buyers usually offer a rate per tree, but I feel the buyers who approached me are offering too low a price. I would appreciate a rough cost estimate
