I’m a 2026 Computer Science graduate, and job searching has honestly started taking a toll on me mentally.

I’ve been applying consistently, improving my resume, working on projects, practicing DSA, and trying to learn new technologies, but I still haven’t been able to land a full-time opportunity.

My main skills are Python, C++, FastAPI/Flask, REST APIs, SQL, Git/GitHub, and Generative AI/LLM applications. I’ve also solved 450+ LeetCode problems and built projects including a GenAI Job Description Analyzer and backend REST APIs.

I’m mainly looking for:

• Internships that can convert to full-time

I’m a fresher, so I’m not expecting some huge package. Right now I mainly want an opportunity where I can work, learn, contribute, and prove myself.

I went to a Job consultancy(heaven)in vadapalani intially they asked 2k to move our application. They said after paying 2 k will start an self intro and an telephonic interview and an HR interview final. But after paying 2k there is not even a single update on them. When I called them they said they moved my application to company but did not even mention name of the company and sometimes ignore my calls too. Looks like I fell into a scam. I payed amount because of desperation to get into IT field(dev roles), need a job immediately because of family situation and also felt oh it's just 2k so let's give a try and also saw many paid google review which makes me believe it . But now when I look into it, I got cheated badly and wasted my parents amount and make the situation even worst. My parents are asking daily whether I attended interview or not. Similar to this many recuitment are cheating fresher another one is esrs/each solution/ever source all three are same recuitment service just name change in pallikaranai. Even went there they asked intial amount 75k so ignored but asked a guy who payed there get cheated, They just arrange fake interview calls and make to wait them for joining/offer letter.

Finally understand one thing ,getting job as developer in this market is so tough and Paying money for job makes the situation even worse.

I went to AccioJob centre last week for taking a companies test in chennai for first time. They asked 5 coding qn and I couldn't not able to code any of it (just coded half for 2 qn). I felt disappointed as I was learning this stack and practising DSA for past 1 year. So I went to the coordinator and ask about the process of these tests and the courses they offer.

He said 8month bla bla... And also said very strongly they will provide placement in good companies where avg pag was 6 lpa.

In those 8 month they will make me attend many(he mentioned more than 100)test and DSA practice and also Mock interview. And also the online classes are from 9pm to 1 am as one who teaching us are Working professional in top mnc in India. And also they will only give these couse for one batch only for 50 student across India. They choose student who will fit for there course he said.

And also shown already placed student linkdin and it's all looked real. One assurance he strongly gave is making me interview ready.

I am an 2026 Passed out student who is looking for Developer roles it's already 3 months over after finishing my college and spending another 8 months on it doesn't makes sense for me. And also I have doubt about their placements.

Is live in maid a good job in Chennai or it's better in Blr?

Unmarried Early 30s can work as live in maid? Mainly because I need a place to stay, an income source and safer option.

Resume is pretty bad right now and I need money and a place to stay until I fix the skill gap.

What do I need to know?

I’m in a really difficult situation and confused whether I should resign or stay and continue.

I joined this company as an intern and worked there for around 8 months. Based on my performance, they gave me a full-time position in June.

My current salary is ₹15,000, and around ₹1,013 is deducted as PF, so I receive about ₹13,987 in hand.

My offer letter says 8 hours of work, but currently I’m working around 12 hours a day, 6 days a week.

I’m also on a 3-month probation, and during probation the notice period mentioned in my offer letter is 2 weeks.

Another issue is PF. PF has been deducted from my salary, but it hasn’t been deposited/reflecting yet. When I ask them, they just say it is “in progress.” They never asked me for a UAN, so I generated a UAN myself through the UMANG app. I haven’t linked it to the company or anything yet.

I’m a fresher and this is my first full-time job, so I’m honestly confused about whether I should stay for the experience or resign and look for another job.

The main things bothering me are the 12-hour workdays, 6-day workweek, low salary, and PF issue.

What would you guys do in this situation? I’d really appreciate advice from people who have worked in small IT companies in Tamil Nadu and faced something similar.

As I am in my final year of B.Tech (AI & Data Science), I have been trying hard to get an internship, but nothing seems to be working out for me lately. Every other damn internship I find out about is a paid course, disguised as an internship, for around ₹5k/month, which is frankly ridiculous. I don't mind doing unpaid internships, but I don't want to waste my time and money paying someone to train me, and then call it an internship.

The worst part is I don't have any seniors or family members who can help me land an internship. Just myself and Google, experimenting and learning along the way.

Don't get me wrong, I am not completely inexperience; I have a few self-made projects under my belt (some computer vision-based, an ML anomaly detection project, and some full-stack development projects). I just don't know how to leverage my skills to get an internship.

How did you get your first internship without any connections?

Does cold emailing or messaging to companies/startups or professors work? How did you go about doing it?

How can I tell which internships are scams? Which ones should I avoid?

As the title says i need a referral in any IT company i have good hands of experience in C# .Net, Angular, SQL and Azure.
