Matt Dinniman - Dungeon Crawler Carl - Season 3 (Audio Immersion Tunnel HighRes Season and Episode Covers)

Since I am limited to 20 images per post, I decided to create separate redirect posts for those looking for the Audio Immersion Tunnel covers. These are the original covers, nothing was changed or edited, I've only gathered them in one place. You can view them on Imgur or download them from the full Dropbox collection posted here. I was unable to find HighRes Season 1 episode covers, the best available resolution seems to be the one posted by u/chyron_8472 here. You can find a matching Season 1 cover posted by u/pablitohernandez here.

Matt Dinniman - Dungeon Crawler Carl series (Book & Audiobook Covers) (SBT, AIT, DH, ACE, MJ)

A collection of official high-res covers for all books and audiobooks in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, specifically the following: SoundBoothTheater, AudioImmersionTunnel, DandyHouse, Ace, and MichaelJoseph. Not everything in here is high-res, but I don't wish to AI-upscale images, and this is the biggest resolution I could find.

The following edits were performed, but they are pure Photoshop, no AI was needed or used:

  • I removed the "Only on Audible" yellow band from the Audible audiobook covers;
  • I removed the "NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER" text from book #7 and #8 ACE v1 to complete that set with clean covers;

Here's a link to the rest of the collection on Imgur, and a link to the same collection on Dropbox.

This part is not relevant, I am only listing the names of the books that have covers in this collection so that the search redirects people here:

  • Dungeon Crawler Carl;
  • Carl's Doomsday Scenario;
  • The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook;
  • The Gate of the Feral Gods;
  • The Butcher's Masquerade;
  • The Eye of the Bedlam Bride;
  • This Inevitable Ruin;
  • A Parade of Horribles;

Where could one read the "Children of Time" short stories?

There are six other short stories available, but I'm mostly interested in "Bearable". I know they are available in the Pan Macmillan anniversary edition both physically and digitally, but I don't have them in my Orbit eBook edition (the screenshot is not mine), and I cannot find them anywhere online.

Someone made a "Reading Children of Time" Spotify playlist

You can find it here. I'm not the author, I'm just sharing it because it seems it has not been posted here before. I've listened to it a couple of times and it works well as background music. Some songs are there because they fit the mood, but most are there for their title, neatly organized by order of events😌

Adrian Tchaikovsky - Children of Time series [1-4] (Cleaned eBook & Audiobook covers)

There are several official cover versions available online but many of them are not designed as matching sets. I tried to clean and group the covers to create one cohesive set for each type of media. This proved trickier than expected and I ended up creating multiple sets, none perfect, but each with a different common logic between their elements.

All covers were cleaned and edited manually in Photoshop. No AI was used, but there were some small areas where information was missing and I had to fill in the gaps using various tools. Despite my efforts I was not able to reconstruct the artwork entirely, and since I generally dislike the results that removal tools give I had to make it work with limited control over the position and size of the text. I did my best to keep edits invisible and faithful to the original artwork but you will still notice imperfections if you look too close.

Here is a breakdown of each set, where the covers came from, and what was changed:

eBook Covers

  • Set1: Author's name at the bottom, one line, small white characters. Title size and placement consistent across Time–Ruin but only roughly approximate across Memory–Strife:
    • Children of Time - Book Cover (Set1) (2015-06-04_Tor) -> Cleaned;
    • Children of Time - Book Cover (Set1) (2016-01-01_Tor) -> Cleaned, included as an alternate despite slightly different alignment;
    • Children of Ruin - Book Cover (Set1) (2019-05-14_Tor) -> Cleaned, included as an alternate despite higher saturation/contrast;
    • Children of Ruin - Book Cover (Set1) (2019-05-16_Tor) -> Cleaned;
    • Children of Memory - Book Cover (Set1) (2026-07-21_FanmadeByMe) -> Derived from "Children of Memory - Book Cover (Set3) (2022-11-24_Tor)";

  • Set2: Author's name at the bottom|top, one|two lines, bold colored characters. Title size and placement consistent across Time–Ruin but only roughly approximate across Memory–Strife:

This is the closest I could get to a clean, aligned collection of covers for books in Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Time series. I'm sharing it here for others to have and enjoy! I am not able to share all the covers here but you can view and download the entire collection on Imgur or Dropbox. If you notice any obvious remaining artifacts, know the name of the font used or have access to clean higher-resolution images let me know and I’ll do what I can. If you are looking for the eBook covers and the links above don't work any longer try this Reddit post.

William Gibson - Sprawl (2015 Aleph)

The original cover art by Josan Gonzales (DeathBurger) is awesome but incomplete, in the sense that the left parts of Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive were never created. This may change in the future, but for now I could not find anything public online.

The best starting point I could find are the wallpapers released by Editora Aleph in 2016 and 2017 (see this Facebook post). However, the official links expired, and right now the shared archive can only be found on other people's Google Drive or Dropbox.

A summary of the differences between the covers shared:

  • Audiobook_v1 does not add anything, remaining faithful to the original art. I aligned the titles vertically and horizontally and zoomed in as much as required to retain alignment between covers while hiding the incomplete sections;
    • Perfect alignment of the title intersects the author's name with Case's chin on the cover of Neuromancer, so I've created a version where alignment is slightly off, but this does not happen;
  • Audiobook_v2 was created by aligning the titles vertically and horizontally in a manner similar to the official book covers, then adding content in Photoshop, either from other parts of the image or from AI-generated extended images. The original content remains unchanged (as it should) the extension operation only adds the missing parts;
    • The extended version of Mona Lisa Overdrive felt unbalanced, so I've created a version with an additional piston in an attempt to fix that;

The official font used for the author name is a variation of "Hudson NY Regular", but I can not say which variation exactly.

If you want the original JPGs or the wallpaper archive mentioned and the links above have expired, then know that I've added them to the full collection of covers posted here. The full collection also contains other versions of book and audiobook covers that I've aligned and edited.

[Collection] Book and Audiobook covers for William Gibson's Sprawl series (2015_Aleph_Fanmade)

These covers are a fan-made version of the 2015 Aleph Brazilian-Portuguese book covers. I'm sharing them here for others to have and enjoy.

The original cover art by Josan Gonzales (DeathBurger) is awesome but incomplete, in the sense that the left parts of Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive were never created. This may change in the future, but for now I could not find anything public online.

    • The extended version of Mona Lisa Overdrive felt unbalanced, so I've created a version with an additional piston in an attempt to fix that;
  • The book covers shared here are a cropped version of the Audiobook_v2 covers. Or more accurately, Audiobook_v2 covers are an extended version of the book covers. These are also faithful to the original art, but they were created from the wallpapers available, so there are differences. If you want the original art go to the full Dropbox collection and download the best version of original art I could find;
  • The wallpapers are a sample from the archive shared by Editora Aleph;

The official font used for the author name is a variation of "Hudson NY Regular", but I can not say which variation exactly.

My favorite Book and Audiobook covers for William Gibson's Sprawl series

These covers were created by removing the "Only on Audible"/"Nur bei Audible" band and other obscuring elements from the German book and audiobook covers. No AI was used, only pure Photoshop edits using the original photos by Steve Roe. I'm sharing them here for others to have and enjoy.

I also edited other cover versions, you can find them all in the full collection I posted here.

Sprawl 1 - Neuromancer (book opinion)

Condensed prose, but good writing. I felt the need to read most paragraphs two or three times in order to fully grasp what was going on but that didn't bother me (that much*). On the first read I was stopping a lot: word definitions, fandom or google for terms and phrases not in a dictionary, maps and pictures for real places, concept art for characters and objects of significance, logical deductions and crude assumptions for everything else. Then, on the second/third read, I allowed the voice of Robertson Dean to unfold the scene without any breaks. It was slow, slower than other books I've read with a similar process, especially at the beginning. And I needed a rested brain and a bucket full of patience to do it. The story actually moves fast, it was just my way of reading that was slow. I stuck with it because the lore is deep, because Gibson likes to say a lot with few words, and because people said I'm gonna be rewarded later on. Fortunately, I broke surface tension easily, I was immersed, and I was enjoying the process. That being said, reading this must have been quite the exercise when none of the resources above existed.

I don't necessarily agree with what people are saying about Part1&2. I enjoyed them, found them necessary to the story, and saw clear intent throughout. Nor about the lack of an editor, but this might be because my eBook version is edited and formatted properly with clear scene breaks (2019/08/08, Ace, Version 6). My argument? Gibson's confession pertaining the writing style from the "The sky above the port" intro: "...I found myself possessed by a dissident attitude that I certainly wasn’t about to share with my editor, or really with much of anyone. ... Like Case at the book’s climax, I was coming in steep, fueled by... I couldn’t have told you, though one element was a smoldering resentment at what the genre I’d loved as a teenager seemed to me in the meantime to have become." The way I see it, he swam against the current, and it paid off.

Bottom line: I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I'm not sure taking the time to understand every tiny detail helped in any way, but the Robertson Dean audiobook, graphic novels, and re-reading paragraphs certainly did. Now, take this with a grain of salt, as my literary culture is somewhat lacking, but in my view the descriptions are well-crafted and powerful, telling what needs to be told with as few words as possible. Gibson's obviously capable of more, like other writers he too mastered the art of hacking into your brain with words and imagery you may or may not understand (much like I try with this fancifully written book review that took more iterations than I like to admit), but he refrains from overuse, flaunting his abilities only from time to time. I can't complain though, the scenes were vivid in my usually blank mind (apart from those moments where he too goes rampant into hard-to-follow, some-dark-holler type descriptions that read like a medieval-english-monk's ramblings on the first try). Either way, he crammed a lot in these pages, but not too much, as some writers tend to do. Be it on purpose or out of impatience, this allowed a less fortunate/educated/gifted/patient reader to pick up the book and follow. It worked, people read it, understood it (to some extent, I'm still not sure I fully grasped its undertones), and loved it. I can trace influences stemming from it through time into other works of media that I consumed, enjoyed, and recommend to people as works of art. This, the root of it as far as I'm concerned, will get the same treatment. I'm curious to see where he goes from here with the next books in the series, book-of-the-month or not.

The closest border I could find is the one here. I integrated it as best as I could with my limited Photoshop skills. Slight use of AI inside Photoshop to blend the images smoothly.
