Super beginner question

Where does everyone buy their wool? I am from a super small town (in Canada) and I can't seem to find anywhere local. The one place that is here only sells white and felt sheets.

Question about potential side effect

Lamotrigine had been a miracle drug for me in a lot of ways. Been on it for just over six years and seizure free pretty much that whole time. Other than when I first got on the med, I've been lucky and almost completely side effect free.

Until this last week, I think?

(Not every time, but enough times that I've taken note of it) Around 10 minutes after I take them I am absolutely bombarded with anxiety and adrenaline. Has anybody else had that happen? Especially out of the blue?

I am hoping it's just coincidence in timing, because these meds have been amazing to me (unlike literally every other med I've tried) but while it doesn't happen every time I take it, it has happened enough to feel like a pattern, and not a good one.

Question for librarians

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I lost a few books when I was young (this was like 15-20 years ago), and then moved away for years, so I haven't been back to that library since then. I've since then moved back to my hometown and am wondering if that would still be in the system? If there are still fees connected to me, does anyone know what I'd be looking at or if those fees would have interest? The thought of going in and not knowing what to expect has me so anxious that I've been putting off going in for like two years now even though it's like a 5 min drive from my house.

(I'm in Canada, if that is relevant.)

Maintenance issues??

I just want to know if this is normal or not, because I'm feeling a little crazy. A lot crazy.

When I was eating at a deficit (around 1200 to 1300kcal a day) everything felt good. I wasn't hungry, no food noise, nothing. I felt great. I lost 22lbs in a period of about four months. Super stoked with my progress.

My problem:

As of about two weeks ago I have upped my calories to my maybe maintenance (still playing around with the numbers, but I'm trying 1500-1600 right now) and I feel like I am absolutely starving, all the time, and it is a genuine struggle to stay on course. The food noise is really hard to tune out.

Is this just a weird adjustment period? Does it go away? I have never felt hungry like this before in my entire life.

Instinct says to up my kcal because if I'm this hungry surely it must be for a reason, but that feels like a very quick way to backslide and lose progress.

How to compliment someone?

How do you compliment someone who has lost a lot of weight without being offensive? My friend was always bigger and really sensitive about their weight. I don't want to imply that they didn't look good before, or that skinny is inherently better or anything like that, but they have lost like 100lbs since I last saw them, and they seem so much happier. I'm not sure how to compliment them?

I don't know their journey or if they have a medical reason for losing weight, or if it's something they worked hard for, or any of that, but they look really good, happy, and healthy, and as someone who is also working on myself and trying to both lose weight and gain muscle, I know how good it feels when someone points it out, but it's also incredibly ingrained to never mention someones weight or body.

Is it better to just say nothing?

▲ 3 r/ebikes

Complete newbie here. I'm looking into replacing my standard road bike with an E-bike but I genuinely have no idea where to start. Any advice welcome!

I'm aiming for something that is pedal assist rather than full motor, preferably budget friendly, and I'm short.

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I have recently switched to maintenance, but if I workout and log my workout in my fitness pal it raises my daily recommended calorie amount. Do I have to eat those added kcal to stay at my maintenance, or does not meeting it put me back in a deficit?
