For anyone who isn’t a Coventry fan, or perhaps isn’t fully aware of just how bad, depressing and miserable things got being a Coventry fan, this is well worth a watch (if you have a spare couple hours).

Years of awful ownership, points deductions, losing our stadium, playing home games in Northampton and Birmingham, and watching the club fall all the way to League Two.

There were genuinely times when it felt like we might never get our club back. To go from that to the Premier League in 8 years is just ridiculous. Hard to explain how much this means if you’ve lived through it all. What a journey. What a football club 🩵

Not entirely sure how reliable this is, but the Openda links seem to have stuck ever since we secured promotion. Would be a very interesting signing and a bit of a statement.

Side note, I know the premier league has insane money floating about, but it’s another thing seeing it and being a part of it to be linked with £40m players like Openda as a newly promoted team.

No details on length of deal, similar to the 3 deals during the season for MVE, kitching and JDS.

Well earned though and a good one to get tied down!
