Can I change my name to an ethnic name?

For context im white and nonbinary and have been looking for a name that fits for years. For about five years I’ve been going by Kris but it feels incomplete. I’ve been looking and looking for a longer form of Kris cause it feels like a nick name or shortened, none of the other names I’ve found for Kris fit. They always feel too masculine or feminine but I’ve found one that truly feels gender neutral. Krishna is the Hindu god of creation and is the name I want for myself. In India and surrounding countries it’s a common name for both male and female. I have nothing but respect for all religions and cultures and need to make sure I’m not appropriating or stepping on toes by naming myself Krishna
