I don’t understand all these efforts from LB team on Android. The market would obviously be the Steam Deck. I wonder how much Android users are bringing them money versus development time. I can’t believe it’s profitable.

I would like a realistic co-driver

I want his voice to react to car bumps and surroundings. I want to hear him being afraid in his voice tone in reaction to what’s happening in the rally. I want a realistic mode with rng which can alter the notes. Like a small mistake resulting of his stress level because of the road conditions or speed level. The whole game is so much realistic except the robotic co-driver.

AMD silently removes memory encryption from consumer Ryzen CPUs, leaving users unaware that they may be vulnerable — security feature vanishes after newer AGESA firmware, AMD engineers go radio silent when pressed about the change

Now they’ve got us in the software part of our lives, they’re going for our hardware. Let’s boycott AMD. But wait! Intel is also a bad company. What are we suppose to do?

I know that a new update is soon to be released but I couldn’t try the last update before today. The FFB has been positively improved. Road texture is back ~50% of 0.1 version for the connoisseur 🧐

I hope that we get a slider to increase the road texture FFB in the next update! I miss the 0.1 texture so much!

Disappointed in 1Password for families

I really like 1Password for the features it provides. I can manage literally everything from daily passwords to kubernetes secrets. I was able to convince my wife to adopt it and we’re now on the family plan with the kids.

Thing is that we can’t actually use it for the kids. When we’ve upgraded our phones we gave them our old phones. They’re still very good and can do anything they need.

EXCEPT! 1Password Android client isn’t supported anymore and can’t be installed from the Play Store.

A password manager should be working on any device, even older devices. What surprises me is that these devices are still functioning, snappy and perfectly fine.

I’m starting to think that I’m not the target customer anymore for 1Password if their family plan isn’t more inclusive than that. What are they expecting? Kids to have brand new 1000$ phones? Is 1Password exclusive to rich families only?

The price hike of 1Password was very sad to hear. And now it just seems like I cannot use the family plan to its full potential.

If you want to call something a family plan, expect that parents will give their kids older phones and please, support these phones.

It's the second time today in a brand new conversation, Codex ignores the AGENTS.md file.

I don't vibe code so I've spotted it almost immediately, it tried to apply node configs in my talos cluster with an altered machineconfig. This is a disaster waiting to happen! Think I'll start looking for alternative. This product is going downhill.

What in the F did they do with the model? It's LAZY and dumb, unbelievable.

It's failing at simple troubleshooting it used to ace 2 weeks ago. I also noticed that my token usage is much less relaxed. It really seems random. I'm actually running 5x conversations at 1.5x speed, 5.5 model with max thinking (not sure in English how it's called, anyway). I can hardly go through my tokens. At the start of the week after the promo with only one conversation after 1 hour I had drained 20% of my weekly tokens.

Please just stop changing the rules. I could give less of a fuck about resets or whatever promo you have.

I just want to use something that doesn't change every 4 days.

Codex just reduced massively it's tokens allowance. Totally HIDDEN change. Very bad business model.

It's not the first time this is happening. They're clearly getting people addicted to the feeling of unlimited tokens so that you keep increasing your subscription. But this is ENOUGH now.

Few months ago I used their promo to try Codex with my Plus plan which doubles your tokens. It felt like I had unlimited tokens.

When the promo ended up, it was abruptly cut to like 1/10th of what their "double" promo was. I guess they might have tried their upcoming 100$ plan but disguised as a "double" promo. Could they be tricking their customers mind so that they get confused about their usage? Keep reading...

Last time I had checked to upgrade my plan it was 180$ more which I couldn't afford, so I kept the Plus plan for a week. I noticed they had completely nerfed it to the point I couldn't use it at all. So I went to check if I could buy some tokens. Saw the new 100$ tier and decided to upgrade since it was cheaper than buying a batch of tokens.

I used the latest model on max thinking and max speed and couldn't break through half of it. I told myself that they might have played me but at least now the contract is clear between us : they want me to pay them 100$ monthly for their product. Fair enough.

Still after my month I downgraded back to Plus tier since 100$ USD in Canada is a lot of money. And it was too much tokens. I thought that I could use 5.4 instead which uses half of 5.5 tokens on slow mode I could get about 40-50% of the Pro plan. Absolutely NOT. It's like they were punishing me. It was definitely NOT 1/5th of the tokens. I was able to break the 5h limit in 1 or 2 hours top.

At this point I was like, I need this shit but damn this company is really bad and evil. I paid for the Pro tier a second time. I immediately noticed that the "unlimited" feeling was gone and that the tokens were consumed way faster than the first time I used the Pro tier. But still I could work a whole week with it without getting limited.

YESTERDAY (2 weeks in of my second Pro tier month)

I'm in Canada and yesterday between 5-9 PM they have reset my week usage few hours in advance before I had the time to use them all until midnight. AGAIN. How am I suppose to use this product if it keeps tricking me? If it's a TZ issue, well they should sort it out and give us back our tokens.

I'm doing simple k8s debugging and writing yaml with most of the time skills I've written which already give the Codex all the information it needs. So my usage haven't changed.

When I saw that they're literally cheating their customers I decided not to give my money to this company anymore and switched back to the Plus plan which my wife is using so until we find an alternative we have to keep this one for now. It said I would keep the Pro plan until June 16th.

Well today it's like they want to punish me AGAIN. With the same usage as usual, I'm already at 20% of weekly usage after the first 5 hour of the day. This is IMPOSSIBLE. It's simply impossible.

We as customers have no way to metrics the tokens, the prompts and how they're changing the tokens allowance in the background. This is a very bad system where I'm starting to feel like I'm crazy and imagining things. But now I have enough proofs over the past 3 months that OpenAi is cheating and robbing their customers.

UNFAIR RESETS

During these 2 months of daily use I noticed that everytime I tried to burn my remaining tokens with fast speed mode, that on the last 2 days, they would reset my week in advance. It happened multiple times. This is a very shady business and they always beat me to it. Whenever I try to use what I've paid for, I get reset.

- This wasn't written by Ai
- English isn't mu main language so sorry for the mistakes.
- I'm using Codex in a devcontainer, rarely the desktop app

FedEx’s website is completely broken, slow, and unusable. It forces you to create an account and add a credit card to schedule a pickup. After a $1 verification payment, it asks you all the same questions again, then tells you your country isn’t supported.

I'm in Canada for reference.

Two weeks ago, I had to return defective RAM, through a shipping carrier I had never heard of. I won’t mention the name since it’s irrelevant, and I don’t want to turn this post into an ad.

It took me five minutes to schedule a pickup with that obscure company. FedEx has been the worst shipping company I’ve ever had to deal with in my life, not to mention their shady import tax practices.

Enforced age verification theory

I’m not sure if this has been discussed before so here’s my theory about the apparent upcoming worldwide enforced age verification.

I’m starting to see more and more indirect correlations between shifts in tech and the push for age verification.

Claude Mythos from Anthropic is going to hurt companies like Zerodium, NSO and forensic tools like Cellebrite and Grayshift. The timeline where it would take a considerable amount of effort to find and patch vulnerabilities is over. Software will become more secure over the next few years. This means much less 0day bugs that can be used over long periods of time.

There’s also a decrease of use of Meta’s social platforms, especially Facebook. We know for a fact that the USA government is tapped directly at the source. A good portion of the world population was active on Facebook for the past 2 decades. Which is not true anymore. Many people are moving to non US social media, or encrypted messaging, or stopped using their social media or just leaving social media at all.

I don’t think there’s a conspiracy theory here. But I think someone had the idea to monetize age verification so they lobbied for it. Then governments started to see how much it could benefit them while making a positive impact for the voters because they’re “saving children”. Then once a big country does it, it usually doesn’t take much time before other countries follows.

TLDR; backdoors are getting patched so governments are opening unethical but legal ones so they can keep watching us. Social media isn’t 99% Facebook anymore so they’re slowly losing data from there as well.

Not written or edited by Ai. This is me with mistakes and bad syntax but at least it’s real.
