Just as a disclaimer im NOT trying to convert anyone as im not a practicing believer, but an agnostic, i simply want to have a discussion.

I was brought up in orthodox christian country but wasnt really forced to be a believer as a kid as none of my parents are really believers, and here religion is mostly seen as a thing of ethnic belonging rather than serious faith in it, even when they say theyre religious they arent really with some exceptions of course.

As a kid i didnt really think much about religion and was atheist for some time and then in my teens i went all out and became pretty “extreme” regarding it and after some time i cooled from it and now im agnostic leaning towards atheist.

When i was in my extreme phase i studied a lot about so if something is not clear to you just ask and i will try my best to answer.

Just dont assume some stuff is the same as in other christian sects because we have a fair share of disagreements with catholics and copts let alone protestant and other new age christian sects

Uvek me je kopkalo zasto sebe zovu romi. Jel mozda zato sto su migrirali na ove prostore za vreme rimskog carstva pa su preuzeli to ime da bi se uklopili? I grci su sebe zvali rimljanima (Romaioi) za vreme rimskog carstva, a cigani su migrirali na ove prostore kad je istocno rimsko carstvo jos postojalo i bilo jedna od najvecih sila u regionu.

Ili je skroz nepovezano i puka slucajnost?

Naprimer kaze se, “idem u kinu/srbiju/vojvodinu” dok se za neka druga mesta kaze “idem na tajland/kosovo/maldive”.

Prvo sam mislio da se na kaze za ostrva pa mi je imalo smisla dok se nisam setio da se koristi i za kosovo, tajland i druga mesta koja su na kontinentu.

Koji je razlog za ovo?
