Ve day, what do I need for a berlin 1945 german impression?

Working on a berlin 45 german kit as late war is my main interest would the uniform be a mix of reissue or m43/m44 and what would of the webbing set up been like. Plus g98 or k98 etc

M43 covers are easy to come by and cheap so why are t handle covers so expensive when for most of the war most soldiers had t handle meaning they all had to have the covers?
