Cecil has a light load of coccidia that the vet is treating with albon. Ue finished his last round of panacur on Friday (we kicked the strongyles) and immediately on Saturday he started the Albon.

Hes been... weird. Still eating and drinking. Still zooming, jumping. But he's tired. He'll eat for a couple minutes, then lay down, come back to it later. Poop and lay down, or lay down while pooping. Zoom for 10 to fifteen, then lay down again for a while. He still ia grooming and bo obvious signs of pain.

Its only his 3rd dose today and im freaked out to give it to him. Hes 14 weeks old and is usually annoying because hes so hyper, but its really making me so anxious to see him so tired. Its not exactly lethargic, just tired.

I called the vet to ask her what she thought but she wasnt there. Just thought id post and see if anyone had any experience with albon too. Thanks!

I have had shoulder pain since I was 15, always got told I was fine or it was from growing g or weight and sent on my way.

At 29, a couple weeks ago, I get a cervical xray and find that I have cervical spinal stenosis and polyoesteoarthritis. I go to the doctor today, she fit me in so I was talking fast and trying to explain yo her my symptoms because she questioned why wanted need a referral, and she told me that I was talking all my frustrations out on her. I got so confused because all I was doing was explaining whay was wrong?

Then she proceeds to tell me that she has spine issues too and she doesnt tale any meds for it. That she even had 2 natural childbirths and she has a really high pain tolerance. She won't order an MRI and thought I was being ridiculous to want to see an neurosurgeon.

So... is she telling me that I just need to tough out nerve pain? My thumbs and pointers are so uncoordinated thay I can hardly text or type. Im scared to lift my arms past my middle in any way because I get a snap in my neck that goes down my entire body with an electric shock. I can't write anymore without getting thay tired pain 10 seconds in and Ive had to cut my work days because of it.

Now she just made me feel like im overreacting. Am I honestly? I just want this done with so im not in pain anymore. Im tired of it. My findings are below for reference.

technique: 5 views of the cervical spine were obtained.

findings: There is reversal of normal cervical lordotic curve with narrowing of C4-C5 and severe narrowing of C5-C6 and a moderate narrowing of r C6-C7 intervertebral disc spaces.

Normal relationship of occiput to C1 and C1-C2 is seen and the prevertebral space is normal. Oblique films show narrowing of the right C3-C4, C4-C5 ,C5-C6

and C6-C7 of the left C3-C4 C4-C5 C5-C6 intervertebral foramen from anterior osteophytes with the remaining intervertebral foramen are normal.

No cervical rib is seen

IMPRESSION: Degenerative disc disease changes with narrowing C4-C5 C5-C6 and

C6-C7 intervertebral disc spaces with narrowing of the intervertebral foramen bilaterally as discussed above.

Can anyone here explain what this is?

Anyone have experiences with albon for coccidia?
