Is this a competitive school?

I’m looking to go to UNBC next year for the wildlife and fisheries program but honestly I ain’t the greatest student and while my scores are enough to meet the university’s requirements I’m worried that if it’s competitive then I might not get in. Should I be worried?

Would y’all keep a horse in your backyard?

Hello horse/farm people of Prince George, I have an issue. I’m looking for universities as one does and my top pick is UNBC however being a resident of the lower mainland it is quite a distance. In my ideal world I would just go to UNBC and board my horse in a nearby stable and live on campus or something like that but that is not realistic and too expensive. Now a sain person would say “oh I shouldn’t hold myself back because of this horse- I guess he won’t come with me” that is not who I am. My horse is my favourite thing in the entire world and living without him isn’t happening for me. Now a quick google search will tell me about all the bigger barns in the area who are throwing themselves online but that’s not what I’m looking for-I need something cheap. Like the kind of thing where you ask a random stranger with lots of land if you could keep your horse there for cheap. I don’t need any real facilities or anything, just a place for the horse to stay and so kind of bin for storage, I’ll be in school anyways so it’s not like I’ll have much time to do fancy stuff. It’ll just be me and trail rides against the world. Now since I’m not familiar with the area- like I’ve never been there- I have no idea where to look or who to ask. So I figured I’d ask someone who’s familiar with the area, hence why I posted this. Honestly any kind of advice or insight would be awesome, stuff regarding horse and barns especially closer to UNBC or anything regarding work in that area to. I’m probably going to be at school part time so I can work and if I’m lucky I can score some kind of job with housing for me and my horse. Idek 😭 anything helps- I’m getting really desperate.

Magic caused headaches?

Hello witches, druids and magick users of reddit, I need some help. For context, while I myself don’t practice magick, I still would consider myself of that category of very spiritual- Especially regarding nature. And since I really like to collect bits of nature and sometimes turn it into art, whenever I’m collecting pieces from nature I ask for permission from the energy/soul of the thing I’m collecting. Now when I do, I’m pretty good at understanding what the object wants, for example recently I was at a beach collecting crab shells. When I found a shell I would ask the crab if it was 110% ok with me taking it home, I usually receive information through the form of energy -like positive or negative- so when I get a negative response I get the usual things associated with negative energy. Ok now comes the actual issue, going back to the crab example- over the course of collecting this shells I have this constant headache that slowly grows. It’s not bad or anything, when I get negative energy usually the headaches are worse. But I’m worried that this lesser headache has something to do with me not fully taking time to understand the item. Currently I’ve been going with the idea that this headache is just from using magick in a way to talk to the souls, like how it grows the more items I collect but it’s been nagging at me recently. Could it actually be from negative energy from me being ignorant? If anyone has some insight that would be greatly appreciated!

Conceptkins!!! What’s your experience?

So I’ve been exploring my identity and questioning whether I might be a nature concept kin?? I’m definitely Otherkin and have a few kins already but there’s something about me that I couldn’t place and I feel like naturekin might fit. I’m like super unsure though because this concepts are not something I’ve ever identified with and I’m just like confused😭😭. Anyways any one out there wanna share their experiences? Especially physical experiences, I experience a lot of things physically and this kind of falls under that category. Like feeling as though there’s rivers and waterfalls with herds of animals all over me, and I breath but I can’t see. It’s very weird since all of my other kins are physical creatures with body and brains that are aware. Idk some insight would be awesome 🙏

Paleotheriotype that hasn’t been discovered yet???

So along the path of discovering myself, I’ve come to learn that one of my theriotypes isn’t an animal that’s been discovered. For more context, I’m a paleotherian and my type is some kind of dromeosaur(raptor) this is something I’ve always known- I also have some memories from this past life. The thing that always screwed my up though was the fact that I wasn’t a carnivore, I was omnivorous. This is how I feel that my species is (if that makes sense) but I also know this from my past memories. I’ve done so much research on dromeosaurs and other theropods I could have been but nothing ever fit, I’ve now come to the conclusion that I’m a dinosaur that hasn’t been discovered yet. Anyone else have this experience?😭

Large silicon tails?

Hello!! I’m a dragon kin and one piece of gear I’ve wanted is a tail that fits me. I have a few tails already like a couple yarn tails as well as this home made hypermotion tail. However non of them really give me any sense of euphoria. Regarding my kintype, I have a very large tail - think dinosaur - and I want something that will move freely and have some weight. I’ve looked into making a tail out of foam but with those tails they only go side to side. I like the idea of bontails were they can flop up and down to- this makes it more versatile for waking on two legs as well as quadrobics ( as my kin will switch from the two frequently) Does any have any experience or tips regarding some kind of large silicone tail? I’m prob gonna make it myself since I’m a little broke😭
