Struggling as a team leader in the AI era...

At my company, we’re (fortunately) lagging quite a bit behind when it comes to AI adoption.

Aside from a monthly token limit, we haven't been given any guidance on how or why to use them, so everyone just does whatever they feel like.

Today I received an MR for an old project where I’d requested a fix (which I expected to take fewer than 100 lines of code...a lot fewer onestly); instead, it included a new "skills" file, 34 modified or created files, 2,195 added lines, and 392 deleted lines.

WTF am I even supposed to do?

Honestly, I’m pretty pissed off, but I also wonder if *I’m* the one who’s fallen behind.

Should I just ask Copilot to do the code review for me? /s

Biners wearing out

Don’t know if is really feasable to answer online to this question, but few weeks ago a friend of mine complained that my biners fuzzed his rope because of their status: I took 4/5 wips at the same height and when lowered down the rope seemed weared out. My opinion is that wipping on the same spot (furthermor were very short wips) weared out the rope, but now I’m a bit concerned I’m underestimating 15 years of honored service of these guys (I changed the sling), despite they don’t seem to have sharp spots.

Edit: typos

La Sportiva Boulder X toe box pain

Hi everyone, in short: I bought a pair of Boulder X shoes in size 45.5 EU a few months ago, but on my larger foot (285 mm), I'm still having discomfort in the outermost toes (mainly the fourth toe). I've now done about thirty kilometers and the right one has stretched and is now comfortable, but the left one still hurts after a day in climbing shoes. Should I persist? Will they stretch further, or should I sell them? Anyone with same foot size (average width)?
