Deathwish // 1v1 Miniatures Game

I managed to get in a handful of playtesting games for Deathwish, my miniature duel game. It's just entered public playtest, so I'm always excited to get some new eyes on it! I've got a newborn at home, so getting play time has been kind of hard the past couple months, but he's been agreeable and taking naps the past few days.

Tldr- Minis agnostic, 1 model per player, game plays in 30 to 45 minutes (an hour or so for a first time learner game), and it's constant play with no downtime waiting on opponents.

The (free) playtest materials- Rulebook, cards, etc- are available at https://iamlegionweare1.itch.io/deathwish

Some game shots from Deathwish over the past couple days

Got in a handful of playtesting games for Deathwish over the past couple days. The newborn decided to be pretty chill and nap a bit more, so I wrangled the partner into a few while we had the time.

Deathwish // A 1v1, Mini Agnostic, Scrap Punk Duel

Deathwish is going into public playtest, and I'd love to see some new eyes on it.

Each player controls a single model, actions are simultaneously revealed, with a big focus on mind games and playing around what you think your opponent will do. Games take around 30 to 45 minutes, but your first learner game may be an hour or so (as is tradition).

I designed this when I had my first kid, as there aren't many games that can be played in a short window of time. I rarely had 2+ hours to dedicate to gaming, let alone painting an army, so wanted to make something for the people like me with limited time.

The rulebook, all necessary assets, and a list of contact info for feedback are all in the following link:

Thanks for taking the time to check this out! This was my first experience learning design software as well, so pardon any design/layout sins.
