I was a rave kid in the 00s, so to ME, these scream "2004". But my dreamsnaps are always super hit or miss (I've gotten 4k before, but this week I got 600), so im reaching out for help!
Should i submit one of these or keep trying? Are they too empty? Is the lighting bad? Im struggling so bad 😭
I love it mostly because I think its fascinating to see how other people interpret certain characters, and it make me reconsider why I interpret them differently. I think its genuinely so cool that for me, it was always hard to remember that Louis was supposed to be chubby, bc he always reminded me so much of my buddy from high school who was from Florida, and that dude was ripped so I always picture Louis as ripped. Fan casts for Louis are a really fun reminder that he's chubby and kinda bald. And all the different ways people interpret Elle are so fun because she's such a wildcard that we all just kinda picture that one special wildcard old lady from our favorite shows. Fancasting is such a cultural phenomenon bc we're actively realigning our perspectives of these books as a group and discussing these choices and citing our sources for why we imagine Carl a specific way. It adds a whole new element to the Fandom discourse.
But I'm about 2 "this choice isn't realistic/ is too expensive" comments away from having to leave/mute.
Its so exhausting to be pulled away from the fun because some weirdo thinks fancastings hold some kind of weight to the producers and antagonize the rest of us for setting unrealistic expectations.
I'm sure this has been posted before, but he truly would be perfect.
