EDIT : Solution found: a guy is already on it and helping me out!

I am Belgian.

For the past few months, I have been on a very special quest: to collect all the existing translations of the first Harry Potter book. I have now 57 translations.

Every search brings me to new people who help me with my quest, and it is really nice. Recently, I was able to get copies from Kazakhstan, and soon from Armenia, all thanks to the Reddit community. The World Wide Web is so POWERFUL !!

Luckily, I do not always need to ask for help, but I have to admit that, here in Western Europe, finding an older Lithuanian edition of Harry Potter, in good condition and with a hardcover, is really difficult.

I have searched for a long time, and I have found that the only place where there are many second-hand copies is Vinted.

Unfortunately, your Vinted is not connected to our Vinted network, so I cannot order from Lithuania from Belgium.

So I am looking for someone who would be willing to become my “Lithuanian Chosen One” 🇱🇹⚡ and help me add this language to my collection.

Basically, you would only need to order several books on Vinted, receive them at your home over the next few weeks, put them together, and then send them to Belgium. There could be 4 or 5 packages from different sellers.

Of course, I will pay for the books, the delivery costs to you, and the final shipping costs to Belgium.

In return, you will have the satisfaction of helping with a rather unusual quest 😄 And these books will also tell a second story: the quest to get the books !

Hi everyone, I have a quest for you! 😊

I'm trying to get a book that is very difficult to find where I live, in Belgium.

I've noticed that shipping from Kazakhstan to other countries is quite rare. Based on my research (which has been a bit challenging because of the language barrier), it seems that the book is available on Meloman. Unfortunately, Meloman has confirmed that they do not ship internationally.

This is the book I'm looking for:

According to the Meloman website, the book appears to be available in several stores in both Almaty and Astana.

I also tried using a parcel forwarding service, but the only address they provide in Kazakhstan is in a city where Meloman won't deliver this particular book.

So... I'm a bit stuck.

I found a few Meloman/Marwin stores where the book appears to be in stock, and I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.

If anyone is willing to buy or pick up the books and forward them to Belgium, I would of course pay for:

• the books (2 copies),
• shipping,
• and an additional fee for your time and help.

Je collectionne des livres dans des langues étrangères. J'en ai vu un passer sur vinted compliqué à trouver, du moins compliqué à trouver à un prix raisonnable.
Je le vois en vente à 10€. Honnêtement j'hallucine complètement, je vérifie le titre etc, pour être sur de ce dont il s'agit.
Après quelques secondes, impossible de passer à côté de l'occasion. Je clique sur acheter, ça bug, ça s'actualise : "cet article est vendu". Littéralement dégoûté, je gamberge 10 minutes là dessus et sur le fait que l'occasion ne se représenterait plus.
Me vient l'idée de contacter le vendeur via un autre article et lui proposer un prix supérieur pour ce qu'il vient de vendre en mettant en avant ma passion pour les livres. Il a accepté et a republié l'article 15€ en me disant de me dépêcher.
Dans la foulée il a reçu un commentaire 1 étoile par l'acheteur précédent qui a vu cette énorme opportunité s'envoler.
Je le comprends le pauvre, il a du prendre un ascenseur émotionnel aussi haut que le burj khalifa et détester le genre humain.
De mon côté je suis passé de dégoûté et triste à surexcité et méchant de l'histoire qui tire les ficelles dans l'ombre. 😂

Petit post car j'ai ruminé TOUTE la nuit tellement ça me rend dingue.

Mercredi, on va au restau entre collègues, à la fin c'est compliqué de payer 1 à la fois donc j'ai avancé 450€. J'annonce que je paye et que je compte sur tout le monde pour rembourser aussi vite que possible. Je fais les comptes, au soir tout le monde m'a remboursé sauf une personne. Celle qui m'insupporte le plus. Je patiente.

Le lendemain j'envoie un message, demandant de rembourser : elle me répond oui je te rembourse ce soir sans faute.

Déjà ça m'agace car il était de bon ton vu la somme avancee que chacun rembourse spontanément et rapidement. Ici j'ai déjà réclamé 3x en 2 jours, ça fait déjà beaucoup. Techniquement je pourrais vivre sans les 40€ manquants mais pour le principe je trouve ça tellement culotté de pas rembourser directement pour régler l'affaire. Et ça me met dans une position très désagréable de devoir réclamer.

Bref, ne voyant toujours rien arriver (en principe c'est instantané), j'ai ruminé toute la nuit.

Elle serait capable de me dire, je te paye quand on se voit (cad dans 4 jours) mais je crois que ça va juste me faire péter un câble.

Alors, débat, j'en fais des caisses pour rien ?
