Family owns a 100-bigha Dasheri mango orchard in UP near Naimish. How can we increase earnings beyond the fixed contractor model?

Hey everyone,

My family owns a mango orchard of around 100 bigha in UP near Naimish.

-------Farm Details:

- In around 20 bigha, the trees are 50+ years old, and the rest are 25–30 years old.

- It has around 650+ trees, and we are planting more saplings in the gap areas.

- The majority of the farm produces Dasheri, with a few other varieties in the minority.

- Fruit quality and production from our farm are always top-notch.

--------Location & Connectivity:

- It is located 1–2 km from the main road (the Sidhauli–Sandana–Naimish route, which is passed for 4 lanes).

- Good connectivity with concrete roads from 2 sides of the farm.

- Electricity and tubewell water are already available on-site.

---------The Situation:

Right now, my family follows the contractor model, where they give the orchard to a contractor for 2 years for a fixed amount. I feel we aren't utilizing it well enough.

-----------Questions:

  1. What should I do to boost the earnings from this orchard?

  2. What is the realistic potential earning it should be generating per year?

Looking for guidance from people with experience in mango farming or agriculture in this region.
