Trying to find street parking here is already a fucking nightmare, but it’s even worse to constantly see areas that could EASILY fit a couple extra cars if everyone just closed the gap! You don’t need to leave half a cars length between bumpers, you’ll be FINE! Nobody’s going to hit you and if I can get my SUV out of a tight bumper-to-bumper gap then you’ll be fine with just a few feet!
I noticed almost immediately when I started working today that my orders were really low. I figured it was probably just a slow day, but even changing areas I was consistently getting the same low offers of $3-$4 as opposed to the $7-$13+ that I usually get.
I checked my order history to see if maybe people just weren’t tipping, but I discovered that the actual issue was even more bizarre: the base pay every single order I’ve gotten today has been exactly $2.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this happen in the three years I’ve been doing this. It always changes to account for distance, time, size of the order, etc. I even compared it to yesterday and the base pay was ranging anywhere from $2.50 to $10. Yet today there is zero fluctuation. EXACTLY $2 across the board for EVERY order.
Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just a weird glitch I’m being cursed with today?

The original Shout! releases are what got me into collecting steelbooks, so I have a real loyalty to them and curating a matching collection.
Last week I posted a high quality and textless version of the Reneto Casaro poster that I'd put together for a personal project. People really seemed to appreciate it, so I figured I'd share the Michael Hussar version I did as well (since this poster is ALSO hard to find versions that are good quality or not compressed to hell and back).
This one was a lot harder to do than the Casaro poster. A lot of the images I found were of varying quality and different compositions, each revealing different pieces of information around the poster. Taking the best of each, I frankensteined them together until I had as much of the full poster as I could on the tops, sides, and bottom. Unfortunately, the final image was quite low quality and compressed, so I reluctantly upscaled. The final result wasn't actually too bad, but it did still suffer from smearing in some of the finer details.
However, right before I decided to make this post I had an "oh, duh" moment and checked Film on Paper again like I did for the Casaro poster... and of course they had a collection of very nice high quality photos of the original poster. Taking the detailed close ups they had available (Ash's face, the mini-Ash's, etc, I blended them back into the image. This allowed for the best of both worlds: while the upscaling allowed me to have the full sized composite without the compression artifacts, I was able to insert/restore/maintain the original details lost in the upscaling process.
I finished it off with an overall layer of noise give it some texture and blend it together, and I'm really happy with how the final result came out.
Working on a small personal project and I needed a good quality version of the Reneto Casaro Army of Darkness poster. Most that I found online weren't great quality or were compressed to hell and back, so I took matters into my own hands and figured I'd share.
Film on Paper shared some great high quality close ups of the original poster, so I Frankensteined them together to form the full sized piece and then filled in the gaps with some of the lower quality versions I found online to tie it all together.
Not as good as having an actual high quality scan, but it's certainly better than some of the others I've seen floating around online.
Parting with my Arrow Conan the Barbarian Limited Edition 4K Collector Blu-Ray. Disc has only been watched one time. Poster, cards, book, etc are all intact and in pristine condition.
I've seen this going for a (surpassingly) high price online, and figured I'd hop on here to see if anyone would be willing to trade for the Zavvi Army of Darkness Steelbook since that's been my most recent grail but I've been unable to find it at an affordable cost, so a trade might work out.
I also have both Shout! Factory Army of Darkness Steelbooks that I'd be willing to trade so that there isn't a gap in your collection.
