A bedbug crawled on me at AMC Kips Bay today 6/12

** 6/13 edit:** Some people in the comments who sound knowledgeable about bugs are claiming this is a scarab or june beetle, and not a bedbug. See here and here. I am quite confused as a lot of people who had personal experience with bedbugs said that it does look like one, but I don't want to spread misinformation, so I'll let you guys come to your own conclusions I guess.

EDIT pic here (caveat, photo is post-squish)

EDIT EDIT Called 311 and they did not take a complaint and referred me to their guidance about not taking complaints about bedbugs in businesses. It was 1/4-1/2" big, I squished it between my thumb and index finger when it crawled on me. If most people think it was a baby cockroach I can call 311 about that... or someone??

Theater 4, D3, 4:15

I am so sorry to break this news because it was a leather recliner seat (it was a little frayed though) and generally I trusted that theater. Now i am dutifully blasting my clothes in the dryer and spraying myself with bed bug spray. JK but am i?

Told a custodian and showed him the cup I captured it in, he said "okay let me take this from you" and THREW IT IN THE TRASH! Then I had no choice but to Karen up to the manager and he printed me a guest pass and said he would call pest control. I messaged AMC on instagram with a picture, but it sounds like I need to make a twitter account for them to actually respond fast?

I am in despair.

I was watching Stop That Train it was fun
