My boyfriend has this habit, and I'm trying to figure out if this is something other people actually do or if it's as unusual as I think it is.

He claims it’s faster, uses less water, and isn't a big deal as long as the faucet is running to wash it down. From my perspective, it’s a major hygiene issue—that's where we wash our hands, brush our teeth, and wash our faces.

Whenever I bring it up, he brush it off like it's a completely normal or practical habit, which leaves me wondering if I'm overreacting or if this is a boundary most people would have.

Does anybody else do this, or deal with a partner who does? Is this a relatively common hidden habit, or is it as strange as it feels to me?
