I know there's been tons of talk about Lee Cronin's Insert whatever.....did Katya like that movie? I thought she said she hated it. But it's streaming on the max channel...and I watched about a half hour before my brain went off to do something else. Is it worth getting back to it?

reading thru the complaint mega thread i’m like kinda flabbergasted at some of the stuff i’m reading. making unfounded assumptions about the interpersonal relationship between trixie and katya, which usually leads to characterizing trixie as some evil bitter bitch and katya as a vulnerable baby who can’t speak up for herself. i think it’s just really strange to me that you all seem to be forgetting these are two grown ass men not characters in your fan fiction. we might get to know a lot of personal anecdotes but it doesn’t mean we, as the audience, know anything about their relationship or feelings or anything! i understand if you’re uncomfortable with the ads or the show cancellations, but some of the other complaints just reek of entitlement and bitter pent up negativity you have towards these women. if you couldn’t understand what was going on in the podcast idk man i think that it may or may not be on you, because i was laughing the whole time and i pretty much understood exactly what was happening. plus there were plenty of comments describing what actually happened if you cared to look. i don’t know what katya exclaiming in the middle of the podcast ‘i missed you so much’ to trixie makes you think that there’s some bullying going on behind the scenes lol. also like for everyone saying trixie has become really mean, were you ever watching them? and also im pretty sure she been dealing with chronic pain which can just cause her to have a shorter fuse.

anyways just a reminder that like the parasocial assumptions are weird. you should be taking their relationship at face value because that’s all you have. katya doesn’t need you to be her savior and her hero, she’s a grown adult im pretty sure if something was bothering her she would bring it up off camera.

Okay so basically my mother doesn’t understand English that well so when i was watching The Bald and the Beautiful on the television she asked me which one is the Russian Addict and which one is the Arthritis (if you remember my post from a few months ago) she finally learned their names but kept referring to Trixie as he and to Katya as she. I told her that since they are both out of drag it isn’t wrong to refer to them with he/him pronouns if it confuses her. She told me that she’s not confused and that she can “see a woman” in Katya. I asked about Trixie and she said “No thats a gay man.”
I asked if she thought Katya is trans and she just said “No just a womanly energy, she knows what its like to be a woman.”
My mother is the furthest thing from a transphobe so please don’t take this the wrong way!

i mean i get being upset that the rest of their all stars recap will be behind a paywall, that is upsetting to me. but what i don't understand is why people in the youtube and instagram comments are acting like they're being forced to pay $20 for their exclusive content? you literally don't have to? and they already said the pod will always be free? T&K have been producing content for us free of charge for 10+ years i just don't see why people are giving them so much shit for this. i get that the price might be high for some people, but its quite literally optional?
