Leaning into being intentionally single

Just got out of a 1 year relationship and I am certain now that I never want to be in a relationship ever again. Before I started dating my ex I had been single for 5 years and those 5 years were the best and hardest times of my life. But they were mine. I grew so much, experienced life exactly how I wanted to on my terms and genuinely loved being on my own. As much as I liked my me time I still wanted to eventually find a relationship so I was intentionally dating during that time. I eventually started seriously dating someone who was pretty great but I was mourning my old life the entire time we were together. I missed my routine. i could no longer do the things that used to bring me so much joy because now there was someone else in my life I would have to consider. Their preferences, wants and needs became a part of my decision making process. After breaking up I am so happy to be back in my old routine. I don't think I want to give that up or have to adjust it for anyone ever again. I have some really great friends and family and am fulfilled with those relationships. For the first time in my life, I am pretty excited at the thought of spending my life without someone by my side.

AIO for breaking up with my boyfriend because he used to hook up with the girl he told me I'd never have to worry about

Recently discovered that my boyfriend of 1 year used to hook up with one of his female friends. I believed him when he told me she was like a sister to him and no way his type and never was jealous of their friendship. i recently witnessed a moment between them that made me realize they absolutely slept together before and when I asked him he admitted that it was a short thing where they both realized it was a mistake but he refused to tell me more when I probed for further details. He had a year to tell me that she is an ex but he never did until I straight up questioned it. I feel like he should have told me before I met her and he's asking me to take a few days to think before I make a decision but to me the lies and omissions are unforgivable and I'm wondering what else he hasn't told me or has lied to me about. So am I overreacting by just sticking to being broken up or should I wait a few days and see if I can forgive him?
