Why on earth does this game punish folks trying to get started?
It is arguably the worst tutorial that ever existed..
I’ve played games for more decades than I’d like to admit,
There is absolutely NOTHING intuitive about the interface or any tooltips to overcome the unknown.
I thought this might be a cross between Civilisation and Satisfactory, that would’ve been awesome.
I’m currently annoyed and want to punch a dev.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a passion project: turning a full-scale Super Heavy Booster + Starship into a fully functional nuclear power plant (Uranium → Plutonium → Ficsonium chain) in the Swamp biome.
Current Status:
• 16 Nuclear Power Plants arranged in a dense Raptor engine cluster at the base (with flame trench and steam venting)
• Massive cylindrical booster with curved foundations, subtle taper at the bottom, and extended side fairings
• The rocket is now extremely tall (visible from across the map) and still growing
• Full supporting factory base built around it with trains, aluminum/copper production, Uranium supply via drones, etc.
• Currently sitting at ~80+ GW and climbing as I finish the chain
I’m using Curve Builder and Infinite Nudge for the cylinder, and I’m planning proper grid fins higher up, a hot staging ring, the Starship upper stage, and twin chopstick towers on the side.
It’s been a huge iterative process — fixing water loops, aluminum/copper bottlenecks, belt routing, and proportions along the way — but it’s finally starting to look and feel like a real launch complex.
Still a lot more to do (especially the upper stage and interior production floors), but I’m really happy with how it’s coming together.
What do you think? Any suggestions for the next steps?
I thought I set this station up exactly as next next one down the track (which is fine). But I have two path signals near the station in error and a block signal a little further up on the closest track in error as well.
Any help would be appreciated.
