Problems with Elemental systems

I had an idea about making a power system have elemental affinities as in elements you're better with but I'm that case would there be like many users of the same affinity? also there are innates basically like a personal shikai or bankai or cursed technique yk something only you can do, could be teleportation or anything

EDIT: Look at Black Clover, many people can have the same element so I don't know if that's bad or good

EDIT 2: What if the test only determines whether your attribute is related with said reaction so like the paper catching paper means fire so what if that just meant his ability deals with some?

What type of power system do you prefer in a story?

For the baseline, everyone has the same energy system, whether you call it Nen, Chakra, Ki, etc. However, most people can't actually use it unless they train to unlock/awaken it, similar to how Nen users in HxH need to have their aura nodes opened.

Would you prefer a HxH-style system, where everyone has one natural affinity that they can reach 100% efficiency in, while the other aspects have a lower ceiling? For example, if you're an Enhancer, you can reach 100% in Enhancement, but you'll never be able to reach 100% in Emission, Transmutation, you'll always be 60% in conjouration.

Or would you prefer a more open system, where there are no fixed affinities? You can specialize in whichever categories you want, and your proficiency in each one is independent. You could be very strong in Enhancement and in Transmutation, medium in Emission, and weak in another category. Or you could eventually become highly proficient in almost everything. Basically, you aren't permanently an "Enhancer" or "Emitter" you can be good at multiple categories at once.

You could also create your own techniques, such as energy threads, energy projectiles, reinforcement, manipulating energy outside your body, etc, basically like most hatsu besides specialization.

For example, someone might naturally be better at releasing energy without the released energy losing much power but have worse control, while someone else has incredible control but lower output or someone be adept at both.

There could also be differences between total energy and maximum output. Someone could have 500 total energy but only 10 max output, while someone else has 200 total energy but 50 max output.

On top of that, people could also develop innate abilities like JJK's Limitless or Ten Shadows. Basically everyone being able to become a specialist in HxH terms

One Pace is a little misleading

so I'm using One Pace to rewatch dressrossa but why are the episodes on average 30 minutes? that's about two episodes length lol, I've encountered episodes that are 41 minutes too. tbh yes it's shorter but they make it seem like it's wayyy shorter when it really isn't that much shorter because each episode is bigger than the actual episodes but I do agree that it cuts out at least 20% of the arc but due to the lengths of the episodes I can't say any more than that lol. if I watched one piece normally without intro and outro it's about 18 minutes so 30 minutes it's basically two episodes worth for me... I use 2x speed btw so it's usually 9 minutes per episode.

where is Eris going at the end of s3

I wonder if she's going to Rudeus home or to wait for him at Orsted's place

What if Redeus worked on Oldeus time travel

Maybe Rudeus could work on the time travel spell and master it, actually being able to transfer his consciousness to his previous self since Oldeus was too old to complete it. This would basically be like Orsted's loop but done by Rudy, that way he could restart as a kid and actually fix his mistakes and possibly perfect his arsenal without losing progress(memory wise) though I do feel like Rudy just wouldn't want to because maybe it's not morally good but we ball. Also I understand it's pretty much impossible since Orsted's spell is a God level spell that transforms the whole world into mana then uses it for the reset but nothing is impossible. How would this affect Orsted's loop tho?
