BofA runaround on Paze $10 credits

Used Paze on a BofA card for the Spend $10, Get $10 Back promo (up to $100 back per card, 6/15 to 9/10/26). Made 10 qualifying purchases between 6/26 and 7/4. Only 1 credit has posted (came in on 7/2, just a couple days after that purchase). Still missing the other 9. For comparison, I also used Paze with a Chase card and got that credit within a few days, no issues.

Here's the runaround so far:

  • 7/21: (call 1), never heard of Paze. Got a 4 digit case number (turns out to be fake), told to wait 7-10 business days.
  • 7/30 (call 2): Told there's no Paze promo with BofA at all. Then, same call, BofA flipped and said Paze is the one who owes me the money and I should contact Paze instead. I looked up the Terms of service on Paze's website, it says that if you don't get a statement credit for a qualifying purchase, contact the bank that issued the card, not Paze.
  • 7/30 (call 3): Called back same day for a different rep. This one said no problem, opened a case, gave me a case number with a 10-digit reference.
  • 8/17 (call 4): When i called I was told the case number wasn't needed and to just re-explain the whole thing from scratch. Was then told this is a brand new issue, first they're hearing of it, and to wait another 1-2 billing cycles. So what, wait another 1-2 months?

The terms are pretty clear that if a qualifying purchase doesn't get credited, you contact the card issuer, not Paze. So "call Paze" was the wrong answer from the start. Doesn't help that every rep seems to be starting from zero and none of the case numbers seem to matter.

One credit posting fine while the other 9 from the same window sit untouched makes it seem like this isn't a "the whole promo is broken" issue so much as BofA's system only processing some of the batch. Or maybe BofA is completely mismanaged.

Anyone else dealing with this on BofA specifically? Curious if it's a systemic issue on their end or if I'm just getting unlucky with reps. Also open to next steps if anyone's had luck escalating (CFPB complaint, etc).
