This is the heaviest mace i have seen being swinged for many repetitions

And it makes me believe in these pdf possibilities

https://internationalmaceliftingfederation.blogspot.com/p/rules.html?m=1

Is anyone else aware of this or training for it?

I mean it is stated in the pdf that you can compete with 50kg maces but i have never sern anything close to it

Heaviest i have ever seen was 40 kg and the guy did like 2 repetitions

Dont be too hard on yourself

Just remembering you that the first 100 times you try it, be a new movement or a new weight. It will feel weird and look bad

You are never weaker after a workout, progress is not s straight upward line, it has ups and downs. Focus on being better after at least 100 days from now and not tomorrow

My swings where ultra bothering me because their height is around my stomach, but today i looked at the videos again and it is not that bad

Hell i could not do get ups neither one armed swings not even for 1 rep a year ago, with a lighter weight

And nowadays a an getting nervous because the one handed swing with a heavier weight are not perfect?

Like have a little patiente

Sincerely my best swings come from just doing them on how i feel in the day, your mind does not have a perfect relation with your body. Sometimes try to swing withoud thinking of a billion things

Sometimes you are focusing so much on proper form that you hinder yourself from naturally doing it

Routine?

I an comming from a ketlebell background, specially simple & sinister. I an almost reaching the sinister standard, in this case my swings need a little more height

But i want to start something else so i bougth 3 macebells

1 with 10kg 1 with 20kg and 1 with 40 kg

Now if I where to do a routine like simple and sinister but stressing the mace uniqueness

What 2 exercises could i pick?

And how many reps?

I weight around 78kg

Leg inclusion on maces?

Maces are ultra expensive for me, so i bought sledgehammer and when i get used to the movement i will add weights to the end of it

But while learning i felt much in my upper body but nothing in the lower body

I tried adding lunges but it gives nothing

But doing these movements in a similar horse stance seens to target well my legs

Anyone else does this? Anyone else have interesting leg movements?
