I've been looking to pick this up for the past few weeks, out of curiosity I went to my local Macy's and in my luck they had the 39 in blue! I was able to get a 10% discount so it came out to about tax free.

I really wanted to see the cookie monster variant but that's apparently backordered for a few months.

Based on my short time with this piece, I can say it punches far above its weight class, rivaling it's contemporaries in the 3 to 5k range.

I was looking for a GADA watch that I wouldn't feel too guilty banging around, and I think this is it. I was initially going to get a BB58 in blue but I just recently acquired a Tudor Sub so was drawn to this. Very happy with my decision, can't wait to wear it out!

After taxes and fees they about covered each other, with a tiny bit of scratch leftover.

The Tudor is something I had wanted for years, but a good example with b&p never came up until the week I sold my Rolex. It's a beautiful watch with the most perfect proportions. It makes the modern Rolex subs seem almost unwieldy in comparison. I had wanted the black dial but this blue dial was too much to pass up and I'm glad I pulled the trigger. I put it on a polished center link oyster bracelet that matches its reflective nature nicely.

The GS is one I had also wanted for years, and I had expected to get way before the Tudor, but actually had a harder time finding. It wasn't until I did another futile seeming Google search that Timepeaks showed up. It's a Japanese platform that acts as a middle man for international buyers from JDM sellers. Worked like a charm.

This watch's dial is absurd and it's proportions are also perfect. My personal curse of getting a Grand Seiko and having something bad happen to me on a jog is unbroken. 1st GS I got a homeless guy spit on me before the jog even really started. This time at the very end I got stung by a bee just as I was about to go inside at the end... Ive never been stung before so this was as hilarious as it is bs.

I can't get a 3rd GS, I'm definitely getting hit by a car.
