what did you guys get or what are you planing to get? I got the cd and signed vinyl, wish there was a signed CD options since I decided to stop buying vinyls a while ago but oh well haha. I wonder if the signed thingy is gonna be the vinyl insert or if it'll be more like a regular poster 🤔

Hello! Just poppin' by to share a bit of the time I met TK, this might be quite a long yap, sorry about that! I'll try to keep it short. Some context for later: I made photocards to hand out to other fans at the festival, the mention of this will make sense later.
It happened the morning after Pa'l Norte and I was running on about 3 hours of sleep from friday to saturday (my body and sleep schedule hate to see festival szn coming) I actually met Miranda first but I wasn't sure it was her because she was facing away from me, at some point she turned and I quietly gasped and just went blank. I was kinda (very) nervous to approach her and eventually I braved up, went to say hi and just said “Hi, sorry to bug you but just wanted to say I was at the show last night and it was amazing” and she gave me the sweetest, warmest hello and we talked for a bit, she even asked my name, gave me a hug and said she remembered me because she saw me at the barricade the night before !!! I told her about the photocards I made and gave her some I made of her & the girls + asked if Emilie was still on tour with them because I remembered seeing one of her stories at the beginning of the latam festival run and she said yes so I mentioned I saved a Dave photocard for her and she was kind enough to tell me she could deliver it (and she did! I recently found out through Emilie that she keeps it in her wallet and she loved it ♡) I also mentioned I had one for Tana but I wasn't sure if I'd get to see Brandon, she just told me to wait (which I think was super sweet, it would've been easy to be like “nah girl, he's already gone” or something like that) So I did, I waited and about 30ish minutes later I saw Brandon! I froze when I first saw him and I was in shock but that was a good thing, it made me forget about the nerves so I was pretty calm (i'm usually shaky when I meet bands I love and my pictures come out super blurry lol) I walked up to him and said good morning and also mentioned the show from the night before, I got a setlist and before I could even ask him to sign it he had already snatched it from my hands to sign it haha, I started telling him about the photocards + the one I saved for Tana and he stopped before signing and looked at me as I was talking, he was paying attention to what I had to say (❤️🩹) he giggled at the photocard (it was the gold suit, probably a “the calling” pose, can't remember exactly) thanked me and put it in his pocket, we took a picture and he left. When I opened my camera roll all I could do was laugh at the picture, it just didn't feel real and to this day it hasn't fully sinked in. I saw Dave a few minutes later and again said hi, good morning and that I loved the show, asked if he could sign my setlist which we dropped a couple times and we laughed about it and then we took a picture. I saw Nicky and Erica and pretty much the same thing, they were super chatty and Erica also gave me a hug after saying hi and complimented my hair. I met Ronnie last and it was super quick since he was in a rush and didn't take pictures but I think he said no because other fans there didn't even say hi, just shoved phones and posters in his face, not me though! he even said to them “wow, not even a good morning or how are you?” so if you ever meet them (or any other band tbh) please be a decent fan/human being and at least say please & thanks. Bummer I didn't get to meet Mark but I'm so so happy I got to meet 3/4 and the girls, It was one of those crazy dreams I've had for ages and it's crazy to think it actually came true ♡⋆˖ ࣪ .
I truly hope everyone gets to experience something like this and please, please, please be kind enough to do the bare minimum of saying hi before shoving a camera in their faces, at the end of the day they're normal human beings like the rest of us and deserve some respect ♡
I saw TK at Pa'l Norte in Monterrey a few months ago and I was lucky enough to get a setlist and luck was 100% on my side because I got to meet them the next day (would love to share the story and maybe even some pics if it sounds interesting, let me know) Sadly I didn't get to meet Mark but meeting 3/4 is still a huuuge deal in Alex world (that's me!) + this was my fourth TK show but my first barricade and first TK setlist so this piece of paper means a lot to me and I will take it to the grave with me one day ♡⋆˖ ࣪ .
I'm obsessed with Brandon signing right above the Twin Peaks intro because Twin Peaks is my favorite show haha, and also...Cody?!? insane !!! this is my favorite setlist so far, it has the hits for casual listeners and some gems for the die-hard fans, the setlists for the mini latam tour back in march were so good.
first of all, hi, i just joined for funzies (i yap a lot and there's not enough space for that on twt, yes i still i call it that) so here's my first post yippeeee
i absolutely loved the performance and i think it's safe to say it's one of the best performances in their entire career. also i'm pretty sure i broke the replay button lol, i disected the performance and wrote down my personal highlights:
★ squeezing a few songs in six minutes sounds like a huge challenge when you have tons of hits but they pulled it off flawlessly, the transitions were perfect and it didn't feel rushed at all
★ they had me losing my mind even from the first few seconds, brandon coming out of a bed of feathers in that outfit was everything
★ matching outfits !!! we often see them wearing their staple pieces on stage, brandon & dave in suits and sparkles, ronnie in denim jeans and a t-shirt and mark chosing something casual but staying true to his style, wearing matching outfits but not giving “uniform“, brandon gave it a twist with a diamond brooch and dave wearing a black top to switch things up was a serve 😮💨
★ vegas vibes !!! not the first time they've had showgirls on stage and everytime they do it elevates the performance, the stage was very simple but classy and elegant at the same time, imagine what they could do with a higher budget and 13-15 minutes (yes, i'm looking at you, superbowl people)
★ erica, miranda & nicky. that's it, that's the tweet. we always see them in black outfits true to their own personal style but them also wearing the same dress and adding a personal touch with the head pieces was the serve they think it was, they looked and sounded gorgeous as ever ✨
★ we know brandon is on fire the second he gets on stage and he was really feeling himself and owning that stage + the working the camera the way he did during atttid?? oh brandon flowers the rockstar/showman/icon that you are
★ seeing the four of them doing stuff like this is crazy in the best way possible, they are right where they're meant to be. from the few bts pictures/videos we've seen so far to the press pictures it's so heart warming to see how happy and proud they looked, dave smiling from ear to ear when he hit that last note, brandon cheering, mark scanning the crowd and ronnie sitting there just soaking it all in, not to be dramatic but that gave me chills
i can go on and on for ages about how much i loved this performance but i'll zip it right there lol, maybe this is my fangirl side talking but gosh this band is beyond incredible, even after many tours, performances and huge events they keep surprising us, i hope everyone who's not in the fandom or is just a casual listener realizes how they put their heart and soul into everything they do.
p.s. i've read/heard they're everywhere and sometimes lurk around so in case anyone from the band or crew is reading this: congratulations, this moment was huge and definitely a new fan favorite, it was pure magic. thank you for every show, every song, every performance, thank you for everything ☆˚｡⋆
