I'm trying to play Arcanum again and bought the steam version. I'm trying to update it to be playable. I can't find the version number anywhere. Should I just start over and get the GOG version?
I really want to get back into this game, I had it back when it came out and it's amazing. I have a few questions.
Is the steam version ok, or should I get it somewhere else? (I don't have the CD anymore, or a CD drive for that matter. I wish I had the manual)
Do I need to patch it to enjoy it?
Are there any tips I should be aware of?
Is there any other thing I need to be aware of?

I have a switch with the online subscription, so all the other Nintendo consoles that go with. What's a good, easy game for a 6 year old? He loves to play when he visits, but he's not very good even though he doesn't seem to mind
