This is the first year I’ve even heard hummingbirds in my neighborhood (in the 6 I’ve been here) AND I have a little one that’s just figuring out how to perch!

Big family of quails? Pheasants? Grouse? On Jay this morning and I couldn’t safely pull over to take a picture. Looked like a bunch of the young were white???
However, a biker had stopped to take pictures and I would LOVE to ask for a photo share so I can see if I was just hallucinating and share with my dad.
