KP discolouration and spreading all over

Hi all,

I’m looking for some advice on how to treat the bumps and pigmentation in the photos.
I’m a guy and I had 5 sessions of laser hair removal before deciding to stop.

Since starting laser, I noticed these small follicular bumps becoming much more noticeable and appearing in areas where I either didn’t have them before or they were barely visible. They’re now present over quite a lot of my body.

The lack of hair also seems to make the texture stand out a lot more, and I’ve developed some redness/darker pigmentation around the follicles as well. It’s been stressing me out because my skin now looks and feels much bumpier than it did before.

I saw a dermatologist who prescribed tretinoin and glycolic acid, which I mix with a glycerin-based compound and apply to the affected areas. I’ve been started treating it properly for months.

I’m considering seeing another dermatologist or cosmetic dermatologist to ask whether anything else can be done to smooth the texture and improve the pigmentation. Would laser/microdermabrasion help?

Has anyone dealt with something similar, particularly after laser hair removal? Did you manage to significantly improve the bumps and skin texture, and if so, what helped?

Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated.

NAB interview insights

Can anyone here give me insights on what the process is like?

I had an interview with NAB a week back and was supposed to hear back from them early this week. I’m yet to get an update, what’s the hiring timeline like at NAB? If successful what are the next steps with probity checks?

Thanks

Chirayu Rana’s whole situation saddens me

I went through the actual court documents on this, and honestly the full picture isn’t being told. I’ve been the only brown person on my team before. I’ve had off-handed comments come my way (rare in corporate Aus), but it happens. Most of the time it’s jest, and when it isn’t, they get an equally cagey response from me… it’s just banter. So I know the environment.

The stuff people are fixating on like the cannons and the fish head comments, look, Im in Finance. Heavy drinking culture, big personalities, loose talk, toxic one-ups. None of that shocks me. What should be getting attention is what’s actually at the core of this complaint: racial bullying and white boy culture left completely unchecked. Read the summons documents and the power dynamics are hard to ignore, it’s easy to have a smallish team of similar people corroborate the defendants innocence. And this guy will probably never work in Finance again.

To the armchair commentators who’ve never set foot in a front-office environment, and no, a teller role at a retail bank doesn’t count, maybe read the documents before having opinions. And to those saying companies settle without cause: nobody offers a million dollars to settle unless there’s something real there. That’s not how any of this works.

Side note, I don’t think Lorna is anywhere near as attractive as the internet seems to think. That whole angle is just a distraction.

Court docs linked below. Worth reading.
