Elevate deal revieq

Hi Guys, I have been hearing about a lot of deals on the honda Elevate and we have to buy a new car in this segment.

The variant we are looking at is the ZX cvt

I went to my local dealer in Panchkula and negotiated down to 17.10L with them. With 17.10 (on Road Haryana), they are giving me car mats and Mud flaps and the 360cam. The 360 cam is just something wanted to get and decided to just get it done.

I keep hearing about deals on the lines of 16.5 and close to that and I have tried negotiating with the dealer on that end but they are not willing to go lower.

How do you think I should proceed, and is this deal a good one?

Edit - Sorry for the typo in the heading :(

What am I missing here, is it even worth it to take a dgca CPL. Wtf dude

Purchase advice - Honda City or Honda Elevate

So I am in the market to purchase a new vehicle. I can comfortably afford the Honda City VX and the similarly priced Honda Elevate (Rs. 15-16 lacs of budget). I have a Honda Jazz 2015, which I absolutely love. The only reason I want to upgrade is that my car has started showing signs of ageing (worn-out suspension, cabin insulation spoiled, and so on), and I had a B-pillar deformed and 2 doors replaced due to an accident (I walked away unscathed).

The reason I want to go for a Honda again is the reliability factor and the clean and classy interiors and exteriors.
I don't care about any gimmicky features, ADAS, a lot of screens, nothing, I just want a simple car which is automatic and comfortable.

My usability involves ofc commuting to work and a lot of driving with my dog, so I want a car with suspension not too soft and not too stiff (it's more comfortable for my dog, here on will be referred to as Chloe). On that note, I think the Honda City will be a little better than the Elevate, as I have heard that the Elevate can be too stiff. Another concern is space. I believe the elevator is more spacious than the city, although I may be wrong.

Another thing is the pricing, the Honda City I will get for 14-15 lacs ex showroom (VX), is updated, newer and has more features than the Honda Elevate that I will get for that price.

I also road trip quite often, Chandigarh - Delhi almost every other weekend and then of course there are the leisure trips. I made one to Goa in November 2025 (in my Honda Jazz) with Chloe.

The only place where I think the Elevate comes out ahead is in the ground clearance, i won't have to worry about it anywhere, whereas I will worry about it with the city. (I already do with my Jazz).

My top priorities would be Cabin comfort, stability, safety and cooling (for Chloe).

I would love anyone's opinion on this, and thank you in advance for the same.

TL:DR - Choosing between a Honda City VX and Honda Elevate in the ₹15-16 lakh range. Priorities are reliability, comfort, safety, highway stability, good AC, and space for frequent travel with my dog. The City seems more comfortable and better value, while the Elevate offers worry-free ground clearance and practicality. Which would you choose and why?
