Bottom wisdom teeth growing in - should I be concerned about potential infection?
First 2 pictures: my bottom right wisdom tooth starting to grow in. Last picture: my left wisdom tooth growing in, for reference on how it should be looking. (Had to block out my tongue since I just drank coffee that made it look super disgusting lol)
I (19F) have had my top 2 wisdom teeth growing in for months now with no real issues. Now my bottom 2 just started noticeably growing in and the right one seems to be having problems, starting a few days ago.
My jaw feels tighter, it hurts to chew on that side of my mouth, and I'm not really sure what that white-ish yellowy thing is. I don't think it's a canker sore since I get them constantly and this is nothing like one I've ever had before so I'm worried it might be some sort of abscess/pocket of pus? Either way it's really painful and anything touching it hurts really bad.
I'm not experiencing any swelling, severe pain, or anything other signs of an infection turning systemic, so I'm not super concerned right now but I'm not entirely sure how serious this is. I'm planning on calling my dentist tomorrow to see if I could potentially get an emergency consultation but I'd like to hear what people on here think about this.
TLDR; wondering if my incoming wisdom tooth is causing an infection (and overall what is going on in my mouth???), and how worried should I be?
