How to incorporate question mark as well as dates (memorial tattoo)

My husband's dad randomly went into a tattoo shop one day and said he always wanted to get a tattoo, but he didn't know what of. He walked out shortly after with this poorly drawn, wonky question mark in the middle of his forearm. He loved it because it made people question the tattoo, and he would say "to make you ask that" which was totally his personality.

Anyhow, his dad died a few years back. Last night he brought up wanting a tattoo, and was thinking a question mark and incorporating 1951-2020 (or just 51-20) into it. He has never gotten a tattoo before and I highly doubt he will get another after this. He does not want the same tattoo as his dad (truly, it was horrendous), but still a question mark as a nod to him. Husband has the same quirky personality that his dad did, so he does want it visible, but perhaps in a place that it isn't ALWAYS visible (thinking bicep/calf, etc).

Neither of us draws, and obviously the tattoo artist will have the final say, but as of right now we can't even picture how to incorporate the dates.

Looking for patterns of tv/movie/video game pixel art

For example, this page has a bunch of Doctor Who ones. I want to make a blanket for my kiddo of all her favorite shows/interests. She likes Star Dew Valley, Star Wars, Supernatural (show), geeky stuff. But any good sites/links for this type of thing is appreciated!

I'm just having a hard time finding them. The ones for Doctor Who are nice because they are smaller in size, so you can use many to make one blanket.

Round 2 (Mermaid Scale Round)

Chain 1.

Create the first scale:

  1. Work 5 double crochets down the post of the first double crochet from the previous round.
  2. Chain 1.
  3. Work 5 double crochets up the post of the second double crochet.

This creates your first scale.
