Have anyone else faced this issue of FCP 12.3 freezing completely when changing a projects resolution? It happens every time for me.

This is very inconvenient as I have a horizontal project that I want to convert to vertical to extract shorts/reels from. But FCP freezes completely when I try to change the project's resolution or aspect ratio.

Hopefully it is a common enough issue that Apple would release a fix soon.

With the Sony FX5 imminent do you guys think that the Lumix S1HII will follow a few months down the line with a similar sensor?

A 18Megapixel sensor with oodles of dynamic range sounds just about perfect to my ears.
