Advice Needed For 14 yr old Daughter with Pots (UK)

My daughter lives in the UK, has just turned 14, and has been suffering from symptoms of POTS for over a year now. It reached a crisis point last year when she found every day difficult and started missing lots of school, which resulted in threats of fines and court action, as well as a horrible situation for my daughter, who was getting little support. She was referred to a cardiologist who fitted her with an ECG for the weekend, and they essentially referred her back to our local GP as they had no tilt table facilities.

Our GP is supportive, but it took me going in and emphasising how much of an impact this was having on her life and suggesting trying beta-blockers (propranolol) before any measures were offered. Since she has been prescribed this medication, she is doing much better but still missing some school. The school won't accept the GP letter as proof of having POTS and have told us we they need a diagnosis from a specialist.

Whilst it might be a slight struggle, we will find the money, but we live remotely, and I was hoping someone here might have a recommendation of a UK specialist who may be able to help us.

Working Visa for Vietnam?

I am a fully qualified UK teacher with QTS who has built a reasonable tuition business and wants to spend a year or two living in Vietnam.

I am wondering if anyone is in a similar situation and has dealt with visas and could offer some advice. My business will be in evening hours in Vietnam and as such I would also potentially be open to the option of teaching locally face to face for a few hours each week or maybe even do the odd days cover teaching mostly to get out and about and meet people.

Is this feasible? Would I be better off just sticking with my online business?

Flood Warnings

I am currently on holiday in Thailand in Hua Hin and we're planning to travel on to Ao Nang this evening.

I have just seen that there are flood/ landslide warnings issued for a few different parts of the country including the Krabi region.

I just checked the weather forecast and it looks like there is a strong chance of a lot of rain and big storms over at least the next 3 days.

Changing plans would mean eating quite a few costs such as flights and first 3 days accomodation etc.

Does anyone have experience of how often these warnings are given and how seriously I should take them?
