Touch Up or No?

Hey!

Seeking advice, I got a virgin relaxer May 2 and I was trying to stretch a touch up appointment but I think my hair is beginning to shed from my new growth. I wear my hair in a loose ponytail w satin scrunchie and I have washed weekly w deep conditionings diligently to keep it moisturized. I recently did a protein treatment so that could also be the cause and need for an appointment(?)

Does anyone think I can stretch to Aug 2 for the 3 month mark or should I try to book an appointment this month?

Frizzy Ends

Hello!

I got a relaxer on virgin hair May 2 and am coming up on a month with it this week. I am planning on only getting touchups every 3 months.

I wash weekly with:

- ouai detx shampoo

- olaplex shampoo

- olaplex conditioner

- condition w heat (food for soft or amika the kure)

- design essentials leave in

- colorwow heat protectant

- blowdry

- straigten on 300-350

- olaplex oil

i wear my hair in a loose satin scrunchie bun most days at work, and when i get home i wrap it in a scarf and silk bonnett.

The last two weeks my ends have felt kind of dry and im not sure why? can anyone tell me if my routine is off, or if it could be internal (vitamins/more water intake) maybe i need a protein treatment or a bond treatment?

my roots to strands feel great! but my ends are a litttleee weird.

Start Date Negotiations

This could be a post too soon but I am so anxious right now.

So I just finished a second round interview, where in the first round I mentioned being able to start in the month of June. They seem to want to hire someone soon, its already the middle/end of May so I thought that was a good turn around.

I mentioned that I would have wrapped everything up (2 weeks notice and moving) by June 10th but was met with push back from the hiring manager. She said it was 3 weeks out and simply too late. I explained I would need to put in my two weeks at my current job and I mentioned having to move cities in the first interview.

I said I would be open to starting on June 10, which while it is a Wednesday, that is the day I know I will have full availability to start working and be in the city where this job is located.

Will this reduce my chances of an offer letter? Or should I not worry at all considering this concerningly fast turn around time.

Please lessen my anxiety!
