The front is so boring and I'd love to make it cuter. I am planning on painting the front door and shutters an olive green color and get rid of the dead plants. In the fall I will be starting a clover lawn since most of the existing grass is dead and patchy. The front yard gets tons of full sun, but due to summer droughts the plants need to be able to stand up to the southern heat. Eventually thinking about putting a floating deck and maybe a pergola instead of the garden bed but in the meantime, what can I do now to jazz things up on a smaller budget (easy diy stuff)? Any help appreciated because my creative juices are overwhelmed.

After Herbst broody session broke, this silkie has been acting odd and being bullied by the others. I separated for nearly 2 months now, given the recommended nuti-drench, and she is still turning in circles. Do you think its wry neck or blindness? Eyes look normal to me. Any insight appreciated!
