I'm struggling to find a good lay out for my master bedroom. For the UK this is a good sized bedroom but struggling to make the most of it due to the doors and windows. Currently the bed is placed along the top wall with built in wardrobes along the bottom wall to the left of the door in (with some other furniture dotted around). This makes the space between the bottom of the bed and the wardrobes very narrow.
Currently planning to do a full renovation of the room but can't move doors due to the hallway layout and ensuite plumbing. Currently leaning to making the right side a dressing room and the left side a bedroom but not confident that that is best.
Units are in meters in first picture and feet second. 3rd picture is a rough concept of what I'm leaning towards now (ignore the specific furniture, just used ikea to be able to visualise it)
Hi All,
Currently I have about 5kw of solar with a 3.6kw inverter and 5.1kwh of battery storage. Inverter and battery are in the loft and are givenergy.
I'm wanting to upgrade my battery storage and with givenergy in administration that makes it difficult, so looking at replacing the inverter and battery. As my father in law is a vat registered electrician (no experience with renewables though) he has said he's happy to do it. At the same time I'd want to move it out the loft and outside (north facing) to make it compliant for new installs and for any upgrades/replacements needed later.
My current thought is to use the 16.1kwh Fogstar as nothing seems to come close to that in price, particularly for waterproof. I'd probably accompany this with 6kw luxpower inverter but less set on that as there are a few more options at a similar price.
Mostly just looking to see if this is a good plan and if anyone has any experience with these systems or doing something similar?
Undecided about whether I bother with setting up to cover power outages
