When is it actually appropriate to do a chargeback vs trying to resolve with the merchant first?

I have a charge from a company that I believe is incorrect. I've contacted them once and got a non-answer. I don't want to abuse the chargeback system but I also don't want to spend three more hours on the phone going in circles. What's the right move here — how many attempts at resolution are reasonable before escalating to the bank?

Has a trading or prop firm ever actually improved your discipline?

I tend to invest for the long term, but I also actively trade on the side. One thing that helped me discipline myself was when I started trading using BullWaves Prime. It was their structure that made me comply with risk management rules more, and this carried over to how I manage my stock investments as well. It taught me to be more selective and not act on every opportunity that comes my way. Wondering if others have had the same experience with a company or platform that helped them manage their trades and investments

Lost my first IEM (KZ EDC Pro) after 2 weeks 😭 Need upgrade suggestions under ₹2k

I was using the KZ EDC Pro as my first ever IEM along with the Jcally JM12 DAC. Together, they both cost me around ₹1450.

Honestly, for the price it was really good and it got me into the IEM world. Unfortunately, I lost it within just 2 weeks 🥲

Now I’m planning to buy a new IEM and my budget is around ₹1k–₹2k.

This time I want something clearly better.

I want to actually feel the music good bass, clear vocals, details, soundstage, instrument separation… basically an IEM that feels complete and immersive.

My music taste is mixed, so I want an all-rounder.

Used to get business details from my own Google Maps scraper, but it is really expensive and absolutely complex to keep up with every time they updated their layout. I’ve tried quite a few different ready-to-use tools to make sure worked consistently. Been using octoparse dedicated Maps template for a while now, pulls business names, addresses, phone numbers without breaking a sweat. Way cheaper than the dev hours I was doing before tbh 🙁

But i want to turn to API. Some guys said Google's API costs are basically a scam? lol. So it there any best nocode tool right now?

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with my Slice account and need some advice.

Around 2 months ago, I got involved in a Telegram “part-time job” scam (Google Maps review + prepaid tasks). Initially, they paid me small amounts, which made it seem genuine. Later, I had to send money to complete tasks, and they returned it with profit.

In total, I received around ₹3900. After that, I realized it was a scam and stopped immediately.

Recently, my bank informed me that a cyber cell complaint has been registered, and ₹2000 in my account has been put on hold. They also shared details of the complaint, and when I contacted the concerned police station, they said my account is linked to a scam case where someone lost money. They are asking me to return ₹2000.

The issue is:

- I did not knowingly scam anyone

- I was also a victim in this process

- I’m a student and currently don’t have that money

I want to understand:

- Is it normal for banks to freeze accounts like this in such cases?

- What is the correct procedure to resolve this?

- Am I legally required to return this money even if I didn’t intentionally do anything wrong?

- Has anyone faced a similar issue with Slice or any other bank?

Any guidance would be really helpful. I’m quite stressed about this situation.

Thanks.

I am moving down from Orange County next month and I'm honestly nervous about finding new people for everything. I need to find a new spot for Botox and regular maintenance facials. I’ve always preferred smaller boutique style places over the big corporate chains because the service feels more personal. If you have a favorite injector or skin person in the San Marcos area who is super talented but also just a cool person to talk to please let me know!

One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is how many AI tools are quietly accessing company data without full visibility.

I came across Ray Security, and they talk a lot about “shadow AI” — basically AI apps or agents that interact with data without being officially tracked or approved. Apparently, these tools can create hidden risks if they’re not monitored properly.

It made me realize that traditional security setups weren’t really built for this kind of environment.

Are you guys actively tracking AI tools inside your systems, or is this still something most teams are figuring out?

Not feeling great today, just wanted to share.

I bought my first IEM (KZ EDC Pro + Jcally JM12) about 2 weeks ago, and somehow I lost both today. Cost me around ₹1450, and I was really enjoying it while it lasted.

Losing it this soon just sucks… and honestly, it feels like this always happens to me. I keep ending up losing things, and it’s really frustrating.

I had saved up just to enjoy some good music, and in the end this happened. Not sure what to do now.
