Welcome to the first r/ArticulatedAnime Pose Challenge!

For our first challenge, we're recreating one of anime's most iconic scenes: The Akira slide.

Your mission is simple: recreate the pose using any articulated anime figure.

It doesn't have to be the same character, or even a motorcycle. Don't have a bike? Use something else 😉. Faithful recreations, funny interpretations, creative twists, and complete chaos are all welcome. The goal is to celebrate articulation and creativity.

How to Participate

• Create a New Post in r/ArticulatedAnime.
• Use the Pose Challenge post flair.
• Include "Pose Challenge #1" somewhere in your title.
• 📸 Share one or more photos of your recreation.

Rules

• Any articulated anime figure or finished anime model kit is welcome.
• Multiple entries allowed, but don't spam.
• Use your own photos. Don't steal credit.
• Be respectful and have fun.

There are no winners or losers. This is a community challenge to inspire creative posing and see how differently everyone interprets the same iconic scene. There is no deadline.
