Lately, i've been obsessed with fighting games such as Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, King Of Fighters, Guilty Gear, Virtua Fighter and in this case, Marvel Vs Capcom, specifically Marvel Vs Capcom 2

I do remember playing Marvel Vs Capcom 2 a few times at the local Chuck-E-Cheese, and I remember Ryu was wearing his iconic red headband from Street Fighter 2. I mainly chose the "cool looking dudes" like Venom, Juggernaut, Guile, etc, so I never really chose Ryu, mostly just fought against him

Recently, I bought the excellent Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection for the Switch so I could try out the older games (especially MVC2), but when I booted up MVC 2, I decided to choose Ryu, and he had his white headband from the Street Fighter Alpha games and not his red one like what I remembered him having when I was a kid

I thought it was just an alt costume or it was a change made to the Fighting Collection version, but I went online and looked up screenshots and gameplay videos of the original arcade version, all of the ones I saw had him wearing his white headband, but I swore he always had his red headband when I played the game as a kid

Before you ask, it's not MVC1. He has his red headband in that game, but I specifically remember playing MVC2 as a kid as I chose Sentinel, Anakaris, Guile, Cable, Akuma, Venom and Magneto a lot, and those characters aren't playable in MVC1
