Tasks for Canvas not functioning?

I understand that it's probably due to the "new Canvas dashboard" but I really don't like the options that are available. The color-coded rings were perfect for me, and Tasks didn't break Canvas like BetterCampus supposedly can. I'm struggling to stay on top of my assignments because I don't have the sidebar I've been using for the last 4-5 years, which will tell me what's overdue. And I don't care about Canvas breaking that much, but apparently school districts do, since I've been told that BetterCampus is blocked and will not be unblocked ever. I tried to make a ticket to get it approved, when I was sent the ticket closure message found in image 2. I don't know if there's a way to get this extension unblocked, or if this is even the correct subreddit to post this in, but any advice is appreciated.

My boy Lucas Parker crossed the rainbow bridge early yesterday morning

Idk how or why he was perfectly fine Wednesday morning and then we just didn’t see him but I assumed that was because it was raining and he was just staying dry but then when I went to put him away for the night he was in the exact same spot as he had been at like 10 am so I went over to him and I was like “hey buddy are you ok?” And tried to pick him up but he was limp and noodley so I ran back inside and said “mama there’s something wrong with Lucas” and put him on the ground and his little feet just kinda splayed out like he couldn’t move them so I picked him back up and just held him until mama called the vet and they said the closest emergency place was like an hour away so we decided to call my great aunt and when she answered the phone my mom said “MeMe I think Lucas is dying” and I just started sobbing and meme was telling mom about how this has been happening to wild bunnies in our neighborhood recently - floppy bunny syndrome or something like that - and that it was probably caused from a brain parasite and there’s nothing we could do for him now but make him comfortable so we got him set up on a soft pillow with his favorite towel and started saying our goodbyes and I stayed up with him until like 1:00am when I fell asleep next to him on the floor stroking his little paw and when I woke up this morning at like 6:00am he was cold and stiff and I woke up mama and said “he’s gone” and I was just holding him until 9:30 when we took him to his vet so he could be cremated

ETA: sorry for the lack of punctuation - i wrote this really soon after he passed and i was feeling lazy

My old sticker started falling off after about 3 years so today I finally got around to making a new one! I think it actually looks better than the last one, what do y’all think?
