Relocating to UK
Me and my wife would be relocating to UK (West Sussex) the next month. Both of us a tech professionals, we are planning to take an Airbnb for a month and then lookout for rental options. We have heard that renting is relatively difficult in the UK right now, and we have some questions.
* How important is previous payslips? Since we would have recently moved to UK, we wouldn’t have payslips handy. We would only have proof of employment to begin with.
* I would initially be continuing on my current company payroll. Over the next few months I would transfer to UK payroll. Would that delay affect the renting scenario?
* Can I start contacting rental agents before I reach UK
* What temporary accommodation should I look for. Is Airbnb the most affordable option
