Advice on setting up

Hi everyone, need some help.

I have a screen in my living room and also a projector.

As of now, my setup is that I project my movies from my PC Laptop, casting them via Windows Connect to the projector and then via bluetooth to my fireTV speaker.

The audio is fine but the projector´s image is not great and, sometimes, the projector looses the connection to the pc laptop, I notice, around every 55 minutes.

I am thinking to connect a pc or NAS or mini pc or whatever, directly, via hdmi to my projector. my flow would be i send movies or watch movies from that pc connected to the projector and i manage the projector´s playback using a bluetooth device connecting the keyboard and the mouse to it and leaving it on my living room´s table.

i am also considering just buying a super cheap pc laptop, leaving it in the shelf attached to the projector "permanently" and watching movies out of that cheap pc.

i share some pics of how my projector is setup, for reference. you can see the shelf where the projector is at, is not that big. i could put a mini pc or a very lean, lightweight pc

advice on how to go about it? cheap pc or mini pc managed by bluetooth keyboard and mouse?

Protection for potential crash

Hi everyone

Got a question/seek advice for the forum.

If there was to be a large stock crash, say, in the next 6-12 months and the markets went down 40-60% (sp500, nasdaq, etc), what would be good investment options before that happens to protect from the downside, excluding "complex" vehicles such as shorts, puts, derivattives, etc.

Basically, other than increasing exposure to gold and treasuries , including TIPS, what else is out there to protect a massive stock drop?

Thanks
