Hello,

About eight months ago, I came to Hungary because my husband is Hungarian. I don’t have any friends here yet. To be honest, I didn’t really have any back in my own country either. Since I’ve been here, I’ve felt even more isolated and lonely. Aside from the challenge of adapting, being in a new place where I don’t speak the language yet makes feeling alone even worse.

Since I work from home, I don’t get to make friends in a work environment. Since it’s a global company, my coworkers aren’t Hungarian anyway. I don’t know if there are any communities I can join or places where I can make friends. I thought about trying Bumble BFF, but after looking at online reviews, I saw that it’s hard to make friends there too. I’m not sure if that applies to Hungary. I’m open to any suggestions you might have on this. Thank you in advance for taking the time to help.
